So that'll be 2015 then.

Looks a lot like the Infiniti Q50/Nissan Skyline.
You're all screwy on your release years.

Nope. As stated elsewhere in this forum in many places, the year is the actual year of the car, not the ludicrous US model year system.
According to your "rules" a the top of the car suggestions page, says "Year" for street cars, and "Year first shown" for concept cars. This is not a concept car. In any case, if the rule is the same for both then it needs to be changed.

Car is still a 2016 though, the 2015 Maxima doesn't exist.

You seem to have forgotten yesterday's conversation in the Civic thread.

When will the car come out? Summer 2015, right - well, at least that's what Nissan says? So, let's have a look at the year when the car is brand new... *looks*... 2015.

The US market likes to classify everything sold after February of a year to be a car of the following year's "model year", but that doesn't actually affect time.

It's "Nissan Maxima 2015", whether it's a MY2016 or not.

I think it was clear from the multiple times he's had to go through it.
If the rules were clearer, he wouldn't have to go over it what seems like quite often.

You seem to be taking this to heart quite a bit. It's hardly something to go on the offensive over
Well seeing as I work for Nissan where this car is refereed to as a 2016 model both internally and in marketing, I think it's quit off the wall to label it as anything else.

@R1600Turbo you work for Nissan? Hey dude, can you get me a good deal on a Juke? :mischievous:

Oh alright, just kidding. :D

I like the looks, for sure. But is it just me, or that back reminds me of a Hyundai Sonata....:odd:

Oh, and is it a front driver? Hope not....
