Premium would be awesome and a choice of the two colours the road car was produced in would be even better.

Definitely! It's a great car to drive and seems to have become a smash hit for online racing (because it's the nimblest "road car" in its class)
factors
For sure. I think pretty much all of the one off concept cars in GT have been great cars. The Tommy Kaira ZZII, VW Nardo, Honda NSX-R LM Road Car, all the Group B road car versions, etc.

What I'd really like to see in GT6 though is the Toyota GT ONE Road car. It was in GT2. It's like the R390 road car except with a lot more horsepower (600hp) and it has the same wing the race car does unlike the R390.

I'd like to see both of them as premium cars. I'd pay for all the cars I mentioned as DLC. They could call it the concept car pack.

These cars are pretty much unique to the Gran Turismo series, and they're one of the defining factors of the series in my opinion. You can't find these cars in other games for the most part.

One-off cars are lots of fun; and you're not alone in wanting the Toyota GT-One Road Car back.

The car I've shown in my previous post in the maroon is a 1998 model, the model car you've shown from 1997 is in the wrong colour because it's a model of this car as attached, the proto type from 1997 is red

meaning there are three cars, don't believe me check the Wheels and sides of the car?

This thread should be for the 1998 version as there's a thread for the 1997 one

Red = 1997
Blue = 1998

Either way, great car and upvoted.

Also, making it a premium is won't be difficult as it is in Nissan's Zama warehouse with a ******** of other Nissans as well.

Currently, it is a semi-premium in GT6 which is a little acceptable but it should be a premium.
Also, the car has a visible dashboard when in cockpit view which is unusual for a standard.

I turned off the HUD for a better view of it:

'Ok, the reply was faster than I expected - two were built, but one was stripped down and the tub used for a race car. Bear in mind that the project only got the go-ahead in early Dec '96 and the road car was homologated and three race cars designed, built and tested for Le Mans in June '97. Best job I've ever had.'

The question about how many were made was asked and answered here on PistonHeads.

That blue R390 Road Car is on GT6, along with R390 1998.

The black car in GT4 did not appear in GT6, so, we need this black in GT7 as this is an test car.

Currently in GT6, this car have high quality exterior, looks like a premium car but the only problem is there are no interior, would love to see the R390 GT-1 with Interior.

True, did you notice that the seats and dashboard are modeled, but they just couldn't be bothered for the rest. Rather than patching this I believe it'll be a finished work for GT7.

The red and black one is 1997 ver.
I know people will whine when it is included, calling them duplicates.

It's very easy to distinguish the '97 and '98 models of R390 GT-1, the short tail is the '97 version while the long tail is '98 version.
