Picked up the R92CP the other week, and couldn't help but notice the engine doesn't quite sound right in-race. They've got it right in the garage with the flat-plane crank but when actually driving it, it sounds like the Sauber (cross-plane). For reference, here's also a vid with the R91CP, which uses the same VRH35Z engine.

Interesting thing to find, is there a proper channel to report this as a bug?

Worth mentioning this video from the 2016 Nismo Festival (The year before GT Sport was released and this car not arriving until the June Update in 2018)

Considering this is THE exact car they've modelled, there is a chance this car's issues might've played some part in that (Apparently a Malfunctioning wastegate that over boosted the car and putting it in a potentially dangerous situation of blowing it up, a situation not encountered with the R91CP in that video you posted). Not a bug unfortunately, just an inaccurate sound (As is the case with the Peugeot 908 for example, although no sim as far as I can tell has ever managed to nail the distinct characteristics of that car to a satisfying degree to my ears) but said issues with that exact car might have contributed abit as to what has led the sound is the way it is in GT7 with the car and sound basically being carried over.

I didn't think at all about video release dates, that's an excellent point.

The thing that confused me is the sound is spot on for startups in the garage, they perfectly nailed the "2 angry 4 cylinders stuck together" feeling (I've been around many old 4 banger turbo racecars haha). The race sound must've gotten lost somewhere, I guess we'll get it in a patch or hopefully in gt8!
