I have built this car and upped the HP to just under 400hp (Turbo stage 1 & 2 applied along with ECU Tuning and the air filter, exhaust, etc...). Does anybody have any tunes/setups for the Race Modded car?

Man, this thing understeers like crazy. I have tried everything, putting the camber up, softening the front shocks/dampers, lowering the front end. HELP!!!

I must be going crazy. I thought for sure I saw a tune for a RM Nissan Silvia the other day but now I can't find it. Yes, I have tried to search for Silvia, Nissan, RM and no luck.

Anybody else know of a tune for a Nissan Silvia with RM?

I don't have a stellar tune but you have to very conscience to your throttle you got to roll in and power out with the wheels straight.

Going backwards. Drop the rear about 5mm more than the front and set the front a decent bit stiffer than the rear in terms of spring rate (1.5-2x). It's a somewhat front-heavy car and this needs to be considered when tuning it.

I am trying to adapt the Silvia non race mod tune from RKM Motorsports (https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=4330623) for this car. I haven't had the time to properly test it out though.

Try stiffening the front springs by 1-1.5, rear by .5-1.0, increasing camber a little bit, and possibly softening the sway bars a click or two at either end. I may wind up tuning the RM properly eventually but that ought to work reasonably well.

Thanks for the quick response Rotary Junkie! I will try that out as soon as I can and if it works, I'll post the modified tune here - if/when you get around to doing a proper tune on the car then you will have a starting point. :)

I have a question about the Rigidity Improvement. I rarely do that to any tune even if it asks for it. The one time I did it, it slowed the car down by several seconds a lap. The same tune without the Rigidity Improvement actually was faster for me. Maybe it was the car itself (NASCAR) or maybe it is the way I drive.

Any Ideas? I really don't want to apply the Rigidity Improvement and then find out I hate the car when I liked it before I applied it.

the only difference between a regular s15 and an rm s15 is weight and paint scheme, along with automatically paying for most of the tuning parts. both have IDENTICAL capabilities if you tune them correctly.A regular s15 tune will work exactly the same on an RM s15. same goes for other rm cars

Lazy tuners think this way. My GTR 07 and Vspec have different setups for the same track. Not by much as they are similar. Since when does a car that has a body kit designed for more downforce and on top of that spoilers anywhere identical to a car that has only rear downforce?

Set all your LSD settings really low, and mess with your braking balance. I run 3/6, it really helps me get the car to turn in, but I find that the brake balance is more of a personal set up so mess with it and find out what you like the most.

from my experience, all the suspension and drivetrain setups are exactly the same across RM cars. call me a lazy tuner, sure, because i spend two hours tuning a RUF BTR so it doesn't slide around ever single corner. and as for the body kit giving more downforce, the only difference is the front diffuser. you can get a wing on a regular s15 to adjust the rear downforce, but the rear downforce makes pretty little difference because the car only has a couple hundred horsepower, and a little over 400 if you modify it all the way. with sport softs and above the rear downforce makes little difference since you will get to a top speed of around 150, a speed at which you can't corner very well anyways
