Just when you thought the "please make this standard into premium!" threads were over, here come another one!

Nissan offered in Japan a retractable hardtop variant of the Silvia, called the Varietta. The Varietta was built by Autech and was based on the Spec-S model, featuring the same naturally aspirated engine, with a choice of the 5-speed manual transmission or the 4-speed automatic transmission.

Imagine what it would look like if it was race modified!

Sooooo...less power and more weight than the premium S15 in the game.

But:
If you fold the top down, most of that extra fat lies behind the rear wheels and also relatively low in the chassis. Combine that with a very powerful engine and wide-ass rear tires and you have one hell of a drag car.

Given the other collapsible hardtop vehicles in the game don't have functional tops, does it seem likely another one won't?

GT4 actually had functional tops (sort of), you could choose in arcade mode if you wanted to drive top down or not. Those cars even had PS2 quality interiors. With all those advancements in technology, I don't see why PD shouldn't reintroduce them.

Finally I see someone who suggested this. The car looks cool, I allways wanted to have one, but unfortunatly there are none in Portugal... If we could drive top down this would be great in GT7!
