If you've never seen it before, have a look on YouTube for footage of this car in the James Hardie 1000 at Bathurst in 1987.
This car carried a camera and the vision of this thing in the wet trying to pioneer new racing lines & fighting the driver is permanently etched into my brain as some of the best driving at Bathurst I've ever witnessed.

OP has been updated with 2 videoclips from YouTube.
The first shows highlights from the 1986 Bathurst Top 10 qualifying shootout and the lap that put the Skyline on Pole Position.
The second video is from the following year, during the race, following a rain shower. It catches on-board footage of Glenn Seton man-handling the Skyline on slicks around the circuit in a brilliant demonstration of car control.
