Nitrous not working

deleted and reinstalled game still no nitrous, I saw a video on you tube someone with same problem, but no solution?

It doesn't work in time trial for me but it does work in races.

Yep it's Race Only as far as I know.

Just wasted 100k to see how fast the top speed of my engine swapped Nissan Silvia Q was, how ridiculous is it that it's only available to use in race's?

Don't get me wrong as I do like the racing and customisation but it does seems like with GT7 they purposely try and mug you off at every opportunity they get!
