No FFB effect after windows 10 upgrade

I just clean upgrade to windows 10 yesterday.
Then I reinstalled assetto corsa. My G27 is detected by windows and all steering input and wheel centering forces are working as expected.

The cars are still driving as expected but I lost all of the FFB effect. I installed Logitech game profiler but it does not appear in my apps and the FFB effect is still not present.

Anyone with windows 10 and G27 with the solution?

For anyone having issues installing your Logitech G27/25 drivers receiving the error message "Sorry, this software is not compatible with your operating system. Please visit http://www.logitech.com/support to download a compatible version." Here's a simple fix that worked for me.

1. Download the drivers for your wheel:
G27: http://support.logit...27-racing-wheel
G25: http://support.logit...25-racing-wheel
(Make sure you select "Windows 8" in the choose OS drop down)

2. Navigate to your download folder or where you saved the driver to.
3. Right click on lgs510 64/32 depending on your OS.
4. Click on properties and choose the compatibility tab.
5. Tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose "Windows 7".

That's it, it worked for me owning a G25 so I assume it will work for the G27 users also. Cheers!

Tried lots of stuff including roll back to win 8 and trying RRRE to troubleshoot(which shows similar issue) Pin down to g27 driver issue like u mentioned.

Apparently the Logitech gaming software 5.10 from Logitech direct support is NOT working. Got it from alternate sources online and alas my g27 is back in order. So those facing Logitech gaming profiler not loading issue. Try getting lgs510_x64 from alternative website if u have 64 bit windows. Do not use lgs510 from Logitech even if u change it to 64bit windows on selection. It loads and install but do not work or show up in the task manager process and appdata *.dll. Windows 10 recognition of g27 in human interface device is generic and does not function as it should. Appdata unfortunately is a hidden file in user and would only show if you use %appdata% to verify if Logitech is installed.

Went through 10 hrs of Internet scouring, reset, reinstall etc for answers and come to this solution

Getting LGS 5.10 to work in Windows 10 or 8 for that matter is a convoluted process. If I had the Penso process when I first started I might not have gray hair now. <smile>

There is a method buried in the Logitech forums. Just search for G27 Profiler install. Trust me without this method, you will not get close to installing the required software. Unless you use Johnnypenso's method.

Strange because when I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7, I had no problems with the G27 whatsoever.

I have noticed my FFB in AC is gone now. I have tried various setups from internet. The steering feel is just way too light. And there is no resistance when turning the wheel. Also lost most of the centering force.
So the game is dead to me now.

I keep going back and checking if something will change. This started happening three weeks ago. I've calibrated the wheel and pedals inside the game too. Not sure what else to try.

When I switch to Project Cars I have too much FFB feel and have to modulate.
And yes, I use a G27.
