Police in California have arrested a man who turned up to a job interview at a welding shop naked and allegedly high on methamphetamines.
Jose Ayala, a Mexican citizen, turned up to a Sacramento welding business on February 27 wearing no clothes and told the stores owners in Spanish that he was good with his hands and wanted a job, KTLA reports.
Tell him he needs pantalones to get a job, store owner Chris Johnson said.
Not knowing what to do, he called the police who arrived to find the naked man standing around in a confused but unthreatening manner.
When an officer tried to put Ayalas hands behind his back and lead him away he lashed out, prompting a female officer armed with a taser to intervene.
The cops were struggling to restrain Ayala when he started to pull the female officers hair and bystanders quickly rushed to help subdue the naked man.
Back-up officers arrived moments later and Ayala was arrested.
Police have since discovered that Ayala is HIV positive and have advised everyone involved in the scuffle to have themselves tested for HIV.
Footage of the incident has since gone viral on the internet and Johnson said the store had been bombarded with media inquiries.
