I recently bought a DFP off of craigslist and, surprise surprise, I have a problem with it. The unit does not calibrate, i think this is because no power if getting to it. I checked the power adapter with a voltmeter and it is working fine. I then checked the power adapter on the wheel, and couldn't complete a circuit, which I think means there is an internal problem.
The right light is illuminated, but the left light is blinking. Since the power adapter is fine, this means the unit itself has something wrong with it, right?
Has anyone opened up the unit and fixed any power problems before? Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to open it up? If I can open it up, I think I can repair it with a soldering iron.
