Anybody else experiencing issues with store.playstation.com? Can't establish a connection with the site in order to log in. Only way for me to run b spec remote racing is though the ps3 interface (web based launching isn't working as of now). Maybe the work of Anonymous?

Ealier today I was having problems maintianing a comnnection with my PS3 to Playstaion Network; thus unstable remote racing. :ouch: But after several restarts of the Playstation, I was able to establish a reliable connection and have been grining ever since.:):)

The server updates after the Down time. take time to Filter to the rest of the internet back bone.
Some ISPs for example.... Dont have a very fast DNS update..

I cant get on either. I've been trying for an hour or so...lame

Off topic noob question, since I tried from my iPhone while it seems the site is down, can you get on and run RR from an iPhone? thanks

This thread is silly. Why post something like this as now everyone is going to assume that there's some sort of serious error.

There is an error, although not that serious. It appears to be login issues, particularly for remote racing. However, the title is very misleading, and a simple two words added "for me." makes a ridiculous difference in meaning.

If anything, this thread would keep the grinder thread from being spammed up with problem reports.

Noticed a major speed boost when doing it manualy Via PS3.
Now that some of the Widget users have been blocked. one upside.lol
Hope for the new B-spec events on thursdays we´ve had these events for over a month then.

Every thing on GT5 Remote racing-
Getting the friends list to display. Ive only got 60 B-Spec not very many.
Then the Filtering of Whos got drivers online.
Then Driver selection screen pop up
All are faster.

Ok. It was never slow for me, widget working or not..

I'm having the same problem. It was happening about 10 days or so ago but sorted itself out. Just tried logging in again last night after being connected to the PSN doing some online races and the PS3 seems to connect ok, but cannot sign in via the GT5 site or on the PSN website.

It is rather frustrating as it states;

Unable to sign in to PlayStation®Network.

Please check the official PlayStation®Network website for information regards maintenance or issues that may affect connection.

But there seems to be nothing else online about this apart from here at GTP.

Anyone got any ideas?

It is a serious error i carried on doing b-spec offline then when i managed to get online the cars i had earnt had dissappeared its about time PD or PSN got there act together 6 years in the waiting and still they need to play with it all the time. STOP WASTING TIME ON GT5 it will be better spent getting GT6 right from the off when it is released in TEN years time.

It's been almost 24 hour since I was able to sign on. This is getting real bad now.

Sony's hired a third party to help, and I assume they're fixing the site. Who knows how long we'll be down, but it's very unlike PD to say something, which assures me that Anonymous is at work.

Wonder if it'll ever be back.

Anonymous launched a DDOS attack on Sony on behalf of GeoHot...Sony settled with GeoHot....the DDOS should subside pretty soon.....

the US and EU sites log ins was fixed long before you posted 911_RS.
4 hrs earlier in fact. lol if you can read english you could simply log in to them from any PSN location account.

Been logged in for hours...others are still down...watch your tongue bud....

But any PSN location can login to any working GT Home site. if they can read this forum they don´t have to wait. but if you want to STOP them B-specing for no reason go a head.
But youll wasting time they could be on b-spec with just 3-4 mouse clicks.

oddly enough: "GT5 remote play" works via my iphone4, but cant login via home CPU, nor widget.

Same thing for me all day today. I got the widget this morning and it wont log into anything, I can't get into the website using multiple browsers yet it works fine on my phone...

I'm glad I can get on somehow but it is a pain and really slow trying to start a race. I just want to RR!!! :banghead:
