Why whenever I go into a drag room everyone is always pushing, smashing, or cutting people off? I hate it. It takes so long to find a good room. All the rooms everyone just crashes into each other and try's to squeeze themselves in. How hard is it for people to just line up go and return without effecting the next people up. Than there's the dumbass' with the x1 who just drive everywhere and hit everything for no reason at all. How do other feel about this because it's driving me crazy having 90% fools.

make your own room then you can kik who causes trouble....if U dont want to make a room its just trial and error....sorry

Step two:
You will be greeted with many different rooms to join. Avoid the ones that say "drag anything" or "have fun" as these are most likely the rooms full of people in X1s who's version of drag racing is smashing into everyone at 100,000,000mph. Choose one with something along the lines of "DRAG BS=KICK". Also make sure to make friends with the good, fair draggers as they are few and far between.

Lol I made my own room and had only a few people join which were all different levels of how drift works so didn't work out to well. I also joined a variety of rooms but after a few minutes people always start becoming dumb.

Depending on what track your doing if your doing ssr7 look for mafia boy or any GME member when we make a room there is no crap taken and is always a good room with very fast people in it.

Like the guide says, go into a room that says, "1/4 DRAG BS=KIK," or make your own. I got one of my PSN friends into a drag room I started and within a half hour there was already about six people racing. Your room your rules.

Like I said, make friends with the good draggers when you meet them. Then start your own room and send all of them an invite. This is how I do it 👍

God it sucks living in Australia.. Cause when all you guys come online is like 3 in the morning or something like that!!

Well welcome to the world of noobs all you need is more "pros" added to your friends list it may sound simple but it really helps in solving that problem

How do you send them invites? Right now I have to go to each friend and send them a room code threw the psn which is the most annoying thing ever epically since the room codes are so long

Just send them a psn message to join. They can join you through the community menu in game if you are in a room or lounge.👍

PS button>Messages>Create Message> Select from friends>write message>send.

They then have to go to community and click on the little yellow button over the lounge button.

Wait is there a way in lounge to see where your friends are playing without having a direct room code?

You don't need a room code just be-friend the people you race with then go to community, if your friend is in a room there will be a little yellow button there, click on it and you go to there room.

Ok nice will make things much easier

Any room that is run by GME is GUARANTEED to have NO BS!! Pull an X1 out and you cop a nice "shotgun" and a report to go with it.

Exactly. 👍 Anything that says "No BS" or "BS=Kick" are usually good sources for finding pro tuners. 👍

No it's not. Here's some timezone helpings for you.
Eastern Daylight Saving Time (NSW, VIC, TAS) - +10 GMT
Central Daylight Saving Time - +9.5 (SA)
Eastern Standard Time - +9 (QLD)
Central Standard Time - +8.5 (NT)
Western Standard Time - +7 (WA)

So if you're playing right now (4.35pm EDST), it would be 6.35am in the UK, and it would be 1.35am on the East Coast of the USA (New York for example) but only 10.35pm over on the West Coast, so you can still play with a lot of people from California and such. 👍 You'll find it better playing early in the morning your time (between 8-11am) as you'll be able to play heaps of people from the UK & US.:D

I only enter online rooms this way now, it's so messed up trying to wade through the volumes of rooms with nothing but noobs and morons in X1's.

Speaking of, has anyone ever seen good drag racing in X-cars? Could be a whole other level of drag tuning, and you don't have to worry about keeping the thing straight through the corners.

In any case, it always bothers me when people try to run three wide at SSR7, there's barely enough room and the attempt to squeeze in usually results in someone's nice shiny paintwork getting scratched and dented. Usually mine.

The other problem is SSR7's lack of an efficient return-road system. But I still like it.

We haven't seen GOOD drag racing.......we've seen X1 races but not the ones of the caliber we expect, but you can only really do it with the X2010, not the S.Vettel which everyone owns. 👎

Three wide isn't an issue for us, it's when you run FOUR wide that makes it end up in tears for most of the racers involved. :yuck:

If you run two wide, the emergency lane is more than enough. The problem lies in that most people run two way drags, and if you want the emergency lane to work, you need to have one way drags. 👍

Indeed. Running more than two wide also blocks the escape route.

Also, I'm ashamed to admit, I have been one of those people who drives back in the middle of the road, mostly because no one ever uses the breakdown lane so I don't think about it.

Now that I know about it, though, it should be easier to not interfere with those racing.

Especially now with everyone and their mother having X1's.

It was nice of Polyphony to give each and every GT5 player a free X1 to celebrate Vettels championship but its definitely increased the amount to noobs that think they are cool when they use it.
