No support for other Fanatec wheels?

After finally being able to start the game, I went straight into the settings page and saw that the wheelcontrollers page looks like GT Sport all over again. The only differance is that the GT DD Pro is now also supported as expected. But to my horror, the mapping page shows the standard wheels delivered with the bases, just like GT Sport. Does this mean the extra buttons, rotaries and switches on my Formula V2 2020 LE still can't be mapped in GT7? If so, Fanatec is dropping the ball in a big way. They are now partners with Sony for this game, but no support for any other wheels? This sucks big time. Anyone that tried their alternative wheel and could map any custom button/switch/rotary?

According to the Fanatec tech support, the Clubsport v3 pedals rumble only works for the break:

"Thank you for reaching out!

The rumble motor of the brake pedal works fine, however the rumble motor of the throttle pedal don't, because it's not supported by the game.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact us again.
Thank you!

Did you even read my questions? It is not about the V3 pedals, it is about all wheels that did not come with a PS compatible base and if they are fully mappable in GT 7. I have a Formula V2 2020 Limited Edition, where I can't map the rotaries, switches and such. Also the Flag lights, are they working in GT 7? If not and not coming, Fanatec is a major let down. That it didn't work in GT Sport, I get it, they partnered with Thrustmaster. Now Fanatec is partner, it would be nice if everything works in the game. ACC and F1 20xx do use all functions on the Playstation, so it is not a hardware problem.

Lol I thought you asked me to post that piece of information here as well. I have no idea about the wheels.

Basically any wheel released since the PS4 CSL elite will have PS compatible controls. Just have to look at the manual for that wheel and see how they are mapped. In game it will only show DD Pro or CSL Elite but you can remap them in game and it will work just fine.

I use the Endurance module and it works perfect with GT Sport and GT7. As do all of my other fanatec wheels. You just need to look at the Fanatec manuals to see the PS mapping for each.

Then tell me please how to map the GSB buttons in game, because they are not on the controller page of GT 7/Sport. I am not talking about the specific PS buttons like R1/2/3, L1/2/3, X, O, Square and Triangle. I am talking about those thumbrotaries and the 2 switches in the middle on the V2.x Formula wheels, that can't be mapped in GT. Ideally you would use those for TC, Brakebalance, Fuel trimming. Also the Flagleds did not work in GT Sport. Can't say they do or don't in GT 7, have to test that yet.

You are also the first to say that the Endurance module works in both GT Sport and GT7. Do you get all telemetry data like lapinfo and such?

I was about to start a thread asking this, so glad to see you've done so mate.

Tell me, if you press the buttons and turn the encoders whilst the DD Pro screen is up in GT7, do any of the on-screen buttons highlight, and if so, I'd love for you to try altering the associated parameter assignments. I've assumed all along that even if the specific wheels I'm buying don't show up, their buttons would still register on that screen.

Have been looking at a DD1 PS4 base, McLaren GT3 V2 or Formula V2.5 and a ClubSport RS or CSL Elite WRC.

I don't understand how anyone can get upset about something that isn't officially recognized anywhere.

The DD Pro package, i.e. wheelbase + steering wheel + pedals, is the officially licensed package. If you want to use other steering wheels, you have to be able to live with them if these steering wheels are not supported.
It can not be helped.
If other games do it better, it's a shame, but unfortunately we can't change it.
