Nobe is an Estonian EV startup and darling of Jalopnik. The 100 three-wheeler is amazing. Retro but modern, a quirky little trike in a sea of gray SUVs. A fire in 2019 destroyed their two running prototypes. They rebounded and have hired Sandy Munro to engineer the car for production. Just last month, the dropped the 500 truck on their Facebook page. There is also talk of a 600 van for some markets like Australia. I don't know if the van pictured here is official or just some Australian's fanart.

I like Nobe. The 100 is the perfect town car for someone like me. I'm hoping for the best from this little upstart.

Now this is really interesting. I'm surprised that they've been able to style the cars so well. It's beyond retro, basically to the level of what Singer and Gunther Works do, taking actual old designs and refining all the details. Do we call these cars restomods despite being in serial production? Anyway, they look like they'd definitely sell in European cities and honestly would probably find some buyers in the US as well. They look good enough to spark new design trends in the industry.

Their website shows a price of $25k for the 100GT. I would definitely consider one at that price.

I'm glad that they are still going after that fire destroyed the prototypes.

I've seen the concept in 2018 and the prototype in 2019 personally, and it' a pretty interesting car. =)

Good party trick

Nobe is extremely maneuverable. Its small turning radius makes it supremely easy to park – you can even park it vertically on a wall!
