unfortunately, i don't think there's a cheap cockpit for the g25 unless you can build one. at least not that i've seen.

Define cheap. Also, I don't think you're gonna find 'great' and 'cheap' in the same product.

That's the one I have and I really like it. You have to order the g25 shifter adapter to have somewhere to set the shifter.
Alot of people complain about the bar in the middle getting in hte way, but I think it's people who have never used the playseat. The bar is not a factor for me. I never even notice it's there, and it adds to the adjustability and stability of the seat.

I found mine on amazon with free shipping. It saved me about 120$ on it.

Here is the seat I wish I would have gotten though http://www.obutto.com/home.html, it looks a bit more stable. I also pre ordered the new fanatic wheel for the 360, and the playseat's pedal tray won't be strong enough for the upgraded clubsport pedals I ordered.

Either seat though would work great with the g25, but if you want to upgrade your pedals one day, I would go with the obutto seat. The pedal tray for the playseat is fine for the g25, but pedals any stronger at all would be too much.

^Agreed. I, too, own a Playseats Evolution and wish I'd bought an Obutto. And, actually, found the same deal on Amazon.

I'd like to add one thing, though: That Evolution is much, much less rigid than I would want. It's not actively annoying, but it just feels very low-quality. The Obutto is the same price, appears sturdier, and has many tables for good measure. Much better.

just to clarify on something...the keyboard tray and the shifter mount can be switched with each other..right?

I emailed them in between Christmas and New Year and didn't get a response.
