None of the codes work for me...

I have an action replay 2 v2 device. I bought from some weird cheap online source (UK company) my GT4. They claim to be factory sealed official version but the packaging and disc is somewhat lack in quality; doesn't seem a legal copy but it doesn't seem illegal either.

Leave that alone, the region code on it says NTSC-U/C. I did a search, it stands for NTSC US or Canada. However from what I know US games has a region code of NTSC-US. I tried the NTSC codes and the 3 available aternate master codes. They all failed. Astonishingly the packaging of the post bag it's from Thailand...

The box of the disc has some Chinese characters on it even alongsides with English (*Chinese equivalent of word Language* Language: *Chinese equivalent of word English* English)

I suspect it might be an asian version or so. The interface of the game however, suprisingly (again) has language options like an European game. English, Italian, Epansol, German... etc

I am very very confused; don't know where the heck this version of the game is from. May be this is why the game shark code doesn't work. I wonder if anyone have any advices though.

The latest American games do seem to be NTSC-U/C.

The disk worked OK did it?

Which version of GT4 are you running?

If the AR2V2 worked OK on your PS2 there should not be a problem with converting some ARMax codes to run on it.

I bought a Japanese AR2V2" and that said it was NTSC/J.

The disc worked perfectly fine. Minimal loading time, everything seems normal. Yet I don't know the origin of the disc.

How do I know which version of GT4 it is?

My AR2 is a NTSC-J one. It definitely work on any Japanese + American games as I've tried.

The problem is the converted codes does not seem to work for my GT4. I suspect it is because my game is not standard American version.
