Noob question about PSP3000

First off, got to apologise for the basic question, but i'll be getting myself a PSP3000 soon to get on the GTPSP. but reading certain reviews on amazon etc looks like you need to buy a Memery card? is this right, or can you get away with the internal memory(if there is any) for a while. or do you need the memory card straight away? can't seem to find an exact answer!probably just me being a tard though!

You need a memory card for storage of savegames and stuff you download. I'm not quite sure if games will run without it. I would advise you to get a memory stick right away, also because you can store GTPSP completely on memory stick, greatly reducing loading times.
