I'm having somewhat a love hate relationship with the Nordschleife Karussell in Project Cars 2.
I'm getting no feedback, though the T300RS nor sound?

In Project Cars there was wheel feedback as well as aural feedback, at the same sections.

Has this been flagged anywhere?

Cheers  SMS and thanks for a great game.

It was always way too bumpy for me in the first game. I assume it's more accurate now as the track was laser scanned for pCARS2. It does feel particularly smooth though and having never driven it I don't know if it's meant to be or not.

Yea, it's just more accurate. It was impossible in PC1 to maintain a line through there as the rumbling would always shake me out of the banking.

Its concrete rather than tarmac so it isn't as smooth as the rest of the circuit. However like driving on concrete motorway surfaces its more a noise thing than a massive change in steering feel.

Most titles make it too big an impact through the FFB, AC and PC2 are the closest to my very distant memory of it in reality.

PC1 was certainly "less accurate". I can't say what's real but yea from what I'm used to in GT6 it as easier to get a certain steering angle and hold it while controlling throttle until you got out of it. PC1 made it all but impossible and I would go around the outside much slower. Now I can be confident in committing to turning in and it hooking up.

Concrete has different feedback/noise to it. Concrete is rougher *abrasive if you will. Given the angle/banking of the Karussel *210 degrees, your speed entering, holding your line through, then exit speed - one would expect some FFB from your wheel.

*DesertPenguin09 - I agree PC1 was too strong

I think it could do with being a bit bumpier , my only experience is in a Lotus though and everything is bumpy in them . I could never get on with the Nordshleife in PCars1 but loving it in PCars 2 as it feels very familiar. Just wish we had the Tourist Route and car park like AC.

I did a GT3 race on the Nurb Combined circuit for the first time in PC2 last night, and it felt wierd as hell.

It was online, 2 lap race, I think there was 6 of us in the lobby.

I was using the NISMO GTR, with my universal base tune applied, raised the ride hight 2mm, and went with a longer final drive gear. Downforce set at 1 in the front, 4 in the rear. Normally, on most tracks, the car feels decent, but not perfect, with instability at low speed, and some understeer at high speed.

However, in the quali session before the race, and in the race itself, the car felt absolutely GLUED to the track, like I've never felt a car in any PCARS game before. It was on rails!! And not in a way that I felt like it was because I was driving out of my skin...it literally felt like the car was on rails.

The section I noticed it the most was after the Carrousel, through the really twisty bit. I don't know how else to describe it other than it felt like the car was 1/2 on auto pilot. I felt like I was missing braking points, carrying too much speed, but at the same time, was hitting every apex. I also got a confidence from the back end like I've never felt, like it was impossible to spin.

The visual seemed to get a bit screwy too. I was mostly concentrated on the car just in front of me, but through the twisty section, it seemed as though the frame rate dropped or something. This is when I really felt like the car was doing something different to my inputs, but maintained really good pace.

Thinking about it now, it felt like playing a driving game with all the steering, throttle, and brake assists turned on. It's been years since I've tried any of those, but that's what it felt like - just mash the gas and go.

My complains on Nordschelife are on graphics. In PC2 the grass is present only close to the tarmac. There is no grass at all on the hills close to the road. Grass on AC is far better and similar to real track. I hope SMS is aware of this and will improve the track in a next patch. It makes no sense for me to see dense grass close to tarmac only and nothing in the rest of the track. This is the approch that SMS made in almost the tracks in this PC2. I preferred by far the grass in PC1 covering better the whole track. The grass implemente in AC is far better in my opinion. It's more visible, less dense (so less power demanding) and more variegated than in PC2 (see Nordscleife for example)
