Good lap MannyMoenjack đź‘Ť But if Andy check last post, page 5. Its a picture of a 8.05.6 lap in e46 :sly:

You are so right with the 3 point you listed, IMO that counts for most cars in shift (tier 1-3)

You seem like a nice guy... so I'm trying hard not to hate you.... ;)

Sorry mr_V, you are quite correct. I shall ammend in due course!

OK if I can't get the e46 record... :sly:

BMW e36 M3 Time... 8:24.800

There's a lot left there to improve on. Great car! Except for anemic stock brakes and rather weak engine, this car has no vices. I'd bet there's 10 more seconds to be had from this one....

Porsche GT3 RSR - 6:58:510 Surpisingly stable, the front end wants to wash out everytime i even think there is a large bump though... theres about 2 seconds left, which Mr_Volcane (almost perfect) seems to have found...

There is much more then just two seconds to find there. But in order to find them, of course you must hand it over to our team racing driver. Watch video closely and Enjoy!

Man, I forgot about this thread. Board updated, feel free to post anymore times and I'll add them on đź‘Ť

Been trying to set a few decent times. 350z is a lot of fun, but still ~20s off Imari's time. Closer with the GTR. I think I need to go a bit more bansai post-karusell, that's where I think I'm slowest.

Anyhew - anyone else finding this stock racing more fun than playing with tuned / works cars? It always feels to me that NFS's physics goes a bit wonky with heavily upgraded cars,

It's much more fun to drive stock cars. You don't have to think about right tune. And wonder how car was setup, what did that guy did with his car which allowed him to go faster. It's also easier compare skills and speed in corners.

In Next week our Team Racing Driver take to the Ring (reward cars) Aston Martin DBR9, Audi R8 LMS, Maserati MC12, and Gumpert Apollo from DLC2. So see you next week... on that bombshell we will have to end this post :)

Which reminds me, I must add the new cars to the list and find their laptimes

I've just got a new PS3 after my old one blew up, so I'll probably be back here working on some times on my way to level 50 again. Good to see there's still people doing this, most fun part of the game IMO.

Good to see you back Imari, you are certainly rapid around these parts as the leaderboard will attest!

Most of the times on this leaderboard is set before they fixed bumpy feeling and maked handling easyer (all of my time was set before handling patch) So to compare times with this leaderboard wont be accurate.

Welcome back Mr_V, the times still stand, for now, but you are right, it is much easier to get a better time these days after the patch, so my only advice is get lapping, and let's break some records!!

Nissan 350z : 8.14.078

Nissan Silvia spec.R (S15) : 8.08.084

Going to try to beat my old rx8 record to see if lap times are faster after the physics patch. Its a long time since the patch , but I have not driven NFS in months. If not my save file was corrupt then I would have gone for 911 gt3 RSR record by darkos to :sly:

EDIT: I just did 3 laps with Rx8 and it was 3 sloppy rounds. I guess 10-15 sec slower then If I did my best, but I got a 8.34 and my old rx8 record is 8.31 so its safe to say that its easyer to go faster after the physics patch .

EDIT2 : Just tried that rx8 for another 3 lap. I was very wrong when I said 8.34 was 10-15 sec behind my best:lol: , just did 8.31 wich was my old record and it felt pretty good so If the old physics patch maked it easyer to go faster, then it must be minimal.

Just posted a NEW RECORD for the Ford Focus ST, My time was 8.51.698, I have a pic on my phone if needed, I thought there was time to be made up on this too, I think it could go under 8.50.xx with a few more runs, I'll keep you updated

My apologies coey87, I'm going have beaten your Focus time before it even got on the board. :(

I've got a bunch of minor upgrades that I've been building up over the past week and a half. Most of them are not major, I'm still running around focussing on smooth clean laps rather than full out speed. Speed comes with practise. Nothing pisses me off more than stacking a fast lap on that final set at the end of the straight.

Audi s3 - 08:30.96
Ford Focus - 08:46.31
Infiniti G35 - 08:25.69
Aston Martin DB9 - 07:39.76
Audi R8 - 07:32.92
Ford GT - 07:27.51
Lotus Exige - 07:59.98
Mercedes SL65 - 07:38.89
McLaren F1 - 06:55.14

Must get some laps in on the Team Racing Pack cars too. I've found out it's going to be ferociously difficult for me to get the Exotic DLC, due to me having an Asian copy of Shift and no Asian credit card. Probably won't see any laps out of me in those cars. :(

Ford focus : 8.35.729
Infinity G35; 8.16.137
Audi S3: 8.26.387
Audi S4: 8.23.187
BMW 135i coupe: 8.21.985 Sorry Imari :sly: You have enough laps on the board :P

Dont have a camera now, but if its important, then I can do it again when I can take picture.

i dont feel too dishartend that was my first 5 laps trying, I dont think i can make up enough time to beat MR. V mind

Ok i had another rerun in the focus and managed to get my time down to 8.46.33, And am sure i can take some more off, How the hell do you do it Mr. V :)

Unlike gt5p you dont need to break very much. In my experience its faster with a "rally driving style" (not drifting, but agressive) Dont treat it like a racing sim

My obsesion was to take DBR 9 under 6:20.000 but since so many tries my lap times are still 6:20.xxx

Aston Martin DBR9 6:20:690

... to be continued!

the steering wheel does wonders for you. the turns you take couldn't be matched by the controller. I've tried for ages to get the controller to work properly but it just doesn't happen. My best at the ring is 6:55. that's sad considering there's 30 seconds to be found, i know it can be done with the wheel but i'm not purchasing it. Save my money for GT5 then the wheel.

Chevrolet Camaro SS STOCK Time:8.11.831 426HP ABS CR 8.80

The time quoted for the Chevrolet Cobalt SS around the ring in real life is 8'22 seconds, however this is for the turbocharged model (195kW/260bhp). Doesn't Shift only feature the supercharged 152kw (205bhp) car?
