I'm checking into NOS for my truck. I'm lookin for a 100HP gain, and have e-mailed NOS to see if the parts I think are right are really correct and how much they cost.

Thats what i want to know quickly:
HOw much does a BASIC 100HP-gain NOS system run? 5lb. bottle, plate for my TBI, sylonoid. I have e-mailed NOS but dont know when I'll get a reply. DOes anyone have a clue about this?
If not and you want to know I'll post my finding when I get the reply.

BMW, a system like you want will run you in the area of 400-500 dollars depending on which system you choose, there are 2 or3 systems that will cover that HP range. All are good , it all depends on your preference.

I think I'll go to a LONG standing HIgh Preformance shop in town, (they sell racing fuel and have been around for years), and see if they can help me out. :D If a guy with a C5 trusts them, i guess i could. I need to get the money first. I'm gonna apply at NAPA for an after school job:D

There are other companies besides NOS.
Try Zex nitrous systems, Venom systems too. These are the major players in the NOS world. Depending on what size your engine is, it should cost you 500-1000 dollars for a basic system.
You need to decide if you want a wet system or dry. The wet system is where they add fuel with the n2o as a shot and a dry system will be n2o only.
Then you have throttle injection, intake injection and others.
Check out Jegs, Summit racing and pick up a magazine on similar trucks and do some research.
I plan on doing this soon for my 50 shot. Ill probably go Venom or Zex, just need to do some research on both.
Good luck on your purchase and let us know how things go.
Later.

Venom, Zex, Nitrous Express and NOS are the major players.
In the sport compact world, the Venom is the standard in NOS systems. Zex is really making a show of it and have one of the nicest systems for around 600 dollars.
If you go with more than a 100 shot, youd better go with the wet system and programmed fuel systems. They work best for the engine systems management.
Still doing research for my car, but keep looking.
