hey guys,

i'm running the b-spec 24h of le mans today for the second time since i got GT5. everything seemed great at first, my lowest level driver is 32 and i'm using an X2010 with fresh oil so my team was curb-stomping the competition, but about 9 hours in EVERY CAR IN THE RACE including mine was on the red for gas, pitted every lap, but did not refuel. it's past 18 hours into the race day now, and i just looked again, everyone is stuck at 49mph (80km/h), most cars in first gear, and at the end of each lap, every car rolls through the pit lane without stopping to refuel or even get new tires. is this normal, what the heck is going on, and does this mean i would have won the 24 heures du mans with a tesla if i actually tried? (i was actually considering using the tesla before i started the race, but i wanted to have a guaranteed win so i could recoup all the money i just blew on the rally cars in the online dealership.)

No its not normal :)
But would be interesting to see what happens at the 24 hr mark as races still finish even if you pull in to the pit lane and cross the finish line after the time limit completes.

i won, but instead of the 160 lap lead that i had last time, this time i finished with about one tenth of that lead. it was the strangest thing, i wish i had taken a video of it. all 12 cars on the track pitted every lap, everybody needed gas but nobody ever bothered getting any. i guess it was more like 7-9 hours of le mans and 15-17 hours of caution flags.

on that note, i know of at least one car whose le mans lap times are so unpredictable, they can go from as fast as 2:35 to as slow as 10:15 with the same driver behind the weel.

What did the pit menu say about how much fuel your driver was planning on?

As for the Tesla, it would've lost either way, since electric cars cannot recharge in the pits ever.

Quit the game and restart the race. Mine did this and I had to restart after 36 hours of a similar loop (Mine was on Tskuba)

the car kept rolling through the pit lane, and didn't give me the pit menu. my tires were on about 5% tread, my current driver was at 0% strength while my other 2 were fully rested, and my gas was well in to the red zone, but my driver apparently didn't care.

i'm doing the race again, one driver only this time to try and get him to level 40 quicker. my fully worked toyota 7 is 20 laps behind the lead, but hey, at least it's able to fuel up every once in a while and go faster than 49 mph consistently.

So its still finished. wonder what would have happened if you choose to over ride his pit stop. O well.
I like that car thats a motor bike for endurance races.

It does x2 the number of laps than any other car on the ring with out pitting but you can't use it for the le mans it gets white washed.
its doing a 9hrs race instead.

PS Make sure Custom Sound tracks Are turned off to avoid the AFTER finish loop on the latest version 1.10....

still haven't unlocked the 24h of nurburgring, but i'll keep that in mind when i do. although to be honest, the x2010 is so good at winning, we might have to invent a new word to describe it. any car that can lap sarthe 160 times more than a pescarolo C60 in one day, even with a more cautious pit strategy, is unholy.

LOL na I meant the 4 hr ring race not the 24hr ring.

You don't even have to use the X2010, Theres the Formula GT as well.

You're using an illegal car and drivers on lower level are dumb - they would take off not refueling.
