If you brouse through south city looking for some Detroit Muscle, you wo'nt find much. Most of what you will find are cars that are mere shadows of there former selves. Cars from '71 & '73 that had life beat out of them by emisions regulations. We know these cars did'nt handle well, but at least throughout the '60s they had monsterous hp going for them.


To hell with fuel economy, cubic inches rule!!!!!

Some of the Muscle cars can be made to run well in the game.
The 67 Cougar can be modded up fairly nicely, It will always look better than it goes unfortunately.

When Polyphony Made the game asked some people to bring classic muscle cars to laguna seca to take pictures of. They had 2 '69 Charger RTs , several different Camaros, And some other 60's and early 70's muscle cars, Why did they pick what they have? I do not know. I saw some footage from the Laguna Seca when they did it.

Another limitation to the games muscle car potential is that all the tuning is factory. When the biggest, baddest muscle cars are the ones that took advantage of after market upgrades.
Holly, Edelbrock, Muncy, Hurst to name a few.

just because they didnt cost an arm and your left nut like an overrated viper...doesnt mean they werent sweet cars. They did suck in the game but muscle cars are still the best kinda cars ever made in my books.

You cant get the sharp crack from a big block 8 from an 8 litre V10 now can you eddy?
