Not So New - TT & DT No. 30

It took me about 75 laps... but i managed to sneek into the top 10 at Kart Space using Yinato's tune with a time of 39.124. I'm literaly exhausted right now.

Yea, his tunes are great. I wish I had an old GSX. I'd be up there even closer (80 something with the Elise/DS3 currently)....But I also wish that car never existed. I've seen it used in a plethora of times in these darn trials lol. One car for all!

Eiger is a really close tt. I did 1:05,4 and that is not in top 250. A few tenths will get me there but I think everyone can shave of some time so its really tough.

Good fun:)

Thanks a lot Yinato! With your setup in 15 minutes 1.4.9. on Eiger. Lower than half second compared to my last time. This is what I needed: moooore oversteering 👍

Hi all,

I'm glad you are my configurations is useful, they are not perfect but they are a good foundation.

I do not like these two'' against the clock,'' I just wanted to ensure a top 10 show and also some that I can play without active steering.

Plus I play Gran Turismo 5 and more I realize that the settings are important, I'd really like that imposed on us without cars still possible settings, it would be much more interesting.

The combo with the Lancer is ridiculous, driving is too easy, no-tech, this is why the times are very tight, on the other hand I think it is interesting for beginners, it allows them to approach the top 10 and compete against the best players.

As for Space Kart in GSX-R / 4 is pretty cool, I did not try it but I had some free time last night, I found it nice but again everything will play out in the settings, the circuit is short and I think we can all do the same kind of time, adjustments will be very important.

I may be back on the Space Kart if I find a new configuration more efficient because with mine I can never get first place, I think also cut my hair for aerodynamic and shave hair on legs (Portuguese style !)...

Turismo-lester ;

Thank you for lending me your car, you are really nice. 👍

I wanted to ask you, did you change your configuration to improve 0'38'625 ? Or did you just managed to get your perfect lap ? Should we happen to get the Japanese ! :grumpy:

I think I said everything, do not hesitate if you need something, I wish you all good luck and goodbye.

Yinato.

Ps : Gerchu, how did you find my setup compared to yours ? Thank you.

EDIT ;

I wanted to ask you, do you have a section on the forum where you can see the different players playseat house ? Thank you in advance.

@Turismo-lester: I've seen you GSX on your garage online. You are on 350 pp with not changed oil and "only" 1500 km:scared: How is it possible?
I'm on 357 pp after 4000 km and never changed oil.
I try to answer me: you have changed just one time oil and then you have done 1000 km with oil new to consume it, isn't it?

I could not try it yet, but when I will, I gonna see which tune is better & post my tune if it is better than yours. I think I have a great tune but I'm the problem :sly:

Try Bspec Endurance Suzuka 1.000 It should be work.

Hi all,

I'm glad you are my configurations is useful, they are not perfect but they are a good foundation.
It's a better setup than what I had, did about 30 laps with your tune for the Super Rally Car on Eiger, Consistantly getting 1:04.3xx and .4xx, just cant go faster for now:indiff:

Fastest stick user and fastest automatic user on kart space just ahead of samurai, probably not for long :D
Nice, beating samurai! He is a GT Genius with the pad:tup:

Kart TT looks really competitive, 7 out of top 10 times set today

I've done it...3 time and other b-spec endurance, for an amount of 4500 km but pp are fixed on 357 after all runs. Car was new, nothing installed, never oil changed. After 4500 km oil look like black petrol ma no pp decreased...fixed on 357:ill: and 87 cv
Maeby I'll following another way: change oil and go to suzuka for 1000 km

My bobs have driven nearly 2000miles of endurance races in this GSX and its still on minimum 357PP- has anyone here actually managed to wear the engine or engine oil like this to get down to 350, or am I missing a trick?

I think you have to do the initial oil change first, as Lorenzo1201 is suggesting above, and then run the car into the ground to bring the hp back down.

Obviously, setup sharing is no problem, but this "secret" is being kept very close to the vest, so to speak, as the question has been avoided by everyone who has a GSX-R at that PP so far.

I suggest sending the car to a backup account first, so you don't accidentally do something permanent to the car. 👍

As for me, I was happy to get under 42 seconds using an Elise 111R the other day, but I would like to try the GSX (one of my favorite cars in the game), not to try for the top of the Leaderboard, but to fire up my Friend's List.

I'm working on a gsx with 86hp 840kg 357pp also, it was a zero miler from a 1000 ticket and now sits at 1320 miles. I think I'll cycle the lot a few times and try a used one if it pops up.

Would be strange if an initial oil change is needed but this is pd after all  I can't recall if I ever did one or not with this car.

If you rubber band the car to spin, do a burn out for hours, the engine hp should be lower?

Anyone have a GSXR to share?

It seems like Turismo-Lester's "friend" list is full :)

Or, I have a new one with 0 miles, what can I do to decrease the PP ???

*EDIT*

Nevermind, I got into Turismo's friend list, much appreciated bro! 👍

I used your tune to get that time, thank you very much for sharing it with us.
My tune was garbage (as usual).

There's no one place to see everyones setup, but here's mine....

http://youtu.be/locEd4un0nA

Everyone having trouble with the gsx pp; you all added full ballast right? lol

I could not try it yet, but when I will, I gonna see which tune is better & post my tune if it is better than yours. I think I have a great tune but I'm the problem :sly:

I've try both with controller stick.
Yinato: Its very hard for me to go under 1:05:00. Best I've come up with is 3-4 laps between 1:04:70 and 1:04:80 out of 40+ laps. Its probably more suited for a wheel or other type of drivers.

Gerchu: I had easier time around 1:04:60 and I keep progressing, I think i'm at 1:04:46x now. Both are good tunes but I see more blue time out of of Gerchu tune, more controller friendly for me.

i use a sixxaxis and used yinatos tune for the eiger.
i improved my time from a 05.4 to a 04.7 on my first lap!
still using the elise as my none of my 3 gsxr's can get down to 350pp.
currently on 39.9
gonna have a go with gerchu tune on eiger tomorrow to see if i can improve but i doubt it'll be by much.
thanks for sharing guys

Gerchu = Guru

Just inched forward on Kart Space. Now at a 39.087. I had an extremely fast first 2 sectors. Then i screwed up the last sector. It would have been a 38.9.

Whats the appeal of Kart space? I never have liked the "track".. I love Eiger though, and it's TT this week was blast in the Lancia Delta, it felt like some vintage hill climb. Good times in GT5 :)

It's a very technical little track, it looks good with all those neon lights and for people without the track pack it's something a bit different. Eiger is nice in the rally cars but there is too much elevation change for my liking.

Well done I saw your time, I'm definitely having another go with that GSXR. I probably wont catch up to you but I'll give it a go. ;)

Come on your supposed to be the Kart Space Master. :)

Since no one will come right out and say how they are getting the GSX-R to 350pp, although we know it has to be worn out oil, here is an excerpt from a thread about oil changes and engine degradation that may help others get their GSX-R down to 350pp:

The information comes from THIS thread.

• OIL

"Oil" has three stable states, and two decaying states transiting between them. The "neutral" state corresponds to oil that comes direct from the dealer, new or used, and has no multiplying effect on power. The "bonus" state corresponds to oil freshly changed or from an overhaul, and amplifies power by 5%. The "bad" state corresponds to oil in a car has been driven sufficiently far with the oil light on, and reduces power by 5%. "Oil" is reset by getting an oil change or overhaul.

The "bonus" state lasts for 200 km from oil change or overhaul, then "oil" decays at a rate of 0.05 %/km over 100 km to the "neutral" state, for a total change of 5% after 300 km.

The "neutral" state lasts until 5 000 km from acquisition of oil (oil change, overhaul, or new car), at which point the oil light comes on.

When the oil light comes on, "oil" decays at 0.005 %/km over 1 000 km to the "bad" state, for a total change of 5%.

Oil color changes from light to dark from about 300 to 600 km from acquisition.

"Oil" in a newly acquired used car seems to arrive at various points in the mileage progression of a new car, but does not appear to arrive past the end of 5 000 km "neutral" plateau, and thus an oil change alone will yield a 5% increase in power but no more. As with a new car driven between 600 and 5 000 km, oil may be dark but the oil light not yet on. If "oil" is at the end of the 5 000 km plateau, the oil light will be on and "oil" will immediately start degrading to the "bad" state. However, with a used car this may be the case well below 5 000 km on the odometer.

Oil change and overhaul are the only ways to get "oil" to the "bonus" state, and they also reset "oil" for its progression through the subsequent states.

So, it appears that you have to get to the point where the oil light is on and then it starts the degrading process to -5%.

Actually, you can see this Thread(There are beautiful playseat's) :)

A great tune Yinato! I feel it more powerfull than mine but mine's turn better. Maybe it is for my driving style, but that's my feedback. Thanks a lot for sharing with us! 👍

I have the same problem, the last 3 corners are killing me, I dunno what is the problem(Surely, it's me  ), but I lose a lot of valuable time there.

Thank you :embarrassed: ! but you are doing all the work! just I gave to you the tune what I made based on your shared car. Thanks a lot for sharing us, you are a gentlemen! 👍
