Hi there, as some of you may know, I am a radio presenter and I love motorsport. I also do commentary in my spare time, so if you'd like commentary over a race, a highlights video or a hot-lap then let me know. I've almost always got some spare time on my hands.

I would be interested, pending a response to the previous post. It would get a great deal of smiles to my race mates to hear a fair dinkum race call for one of our series races 👍

I have a F1 race coming up in about 6 weeks, it would be awesome to hear a Brit voice calling the action on a replay :)
 
I have no links as of yet, but I do have interviews on Youtube so you can hear an example of my voice. I'm currently waiting for a highlights video to be sorted out so I can show everyone, but here's what I have in the mean-time. 👍

I've got a friend who runs a racing series. He is just about to start season 2 of his F1 championship. Last year, they put out some videos of races and found recorded clips of real life racing commentary (It must have been absolute hell to put together as you can see by this video)



I'm sure he would appreciate some commentary. You should contact him. 👍

Got a fair amount of free time on my hands over the weekend so I'm more than happy to do some commentary, here's a rather poor audio quality of me commentating. When I record on a more regular basis I will be recording in the local Radio Station where I work so it'll be of a much better quality. 👍

Awesome work man, really good stuff. It would be really epic if the replay was fully edited for replay with in car shots, rear cams, hood cams, replays of various incidents, slo mo..etc. It would have to be coordinated by the person submitting the video of course, familar with the race and able to provide a replay that focused on all the good passing and possible incidents. You're kind of limited in what you can do if the entire race is focused on one car. Make sure and obtain all the car makes and models , driver names etc. I'm not a sound guy so this may not make sense, but it would be cool if you could get more of an outdoorsy feel to the audio as opposed to the studio type of sound. No idea how to do that but maybe you know what I'm talking about.

I run a fledgling little group of "spec" type racers and when we get a few races under our belt I may put together something for you. We'd all be entirely grateful!!!:) You should charge for this stuff...lol..after us of course..:sly:
 
Annoyingly I didn't make the video, but I agree with you about the multi-camera angle and driver thing. Still, I can't complain, all publicity is good publicity at the end of the day.

I'm sure coxbox would definitely be interested in a commentator for his "Small Specialist Racing" event this sunday, featuring a one-make race of Suzuki Cappucino RMs on Nurburgring GP/D.
I would private message coxbox about this. I think he'd enjoy having a commentator onboard. ;)

I've had a chat with coxbox, and it seems like things could be a no-go as I don't own a capture card to record the race. If anyone has one and would be willing to record it then please let me know ASAP.

I could do, but some people find that as a serious distraction and the last thing that I'd want to do is cause incident. But I am itching to commentate on something really soon as I've been working very hard to try and improve it.
