NTSC AR Max Freezes With Updated Codelist

Owners of AR Max. Please, I need some advice if you are experiencing this problem I need answers. Thank you

I last downloaded the GT4 armax codes about 6-8 months ago and put them on a memory card and all worked fine. I haven't tried another d/l since then as there haven't been any new codes. However I recently copied and hand entered some us codejunkies codes for Sniper Elite and they don't work and the game doesn't freeze immediately but will after about 3-4 minutes of play.

I happen to use a Max Drive to update the codelist. By starting the AR Max without memory card it works fine.
