AND, what kind of fool would give away what they worked for to someone so lazy.
Im with Nick on this. When I was much younger I had time to unlock everything in a game. I enjoyed it and my fingers hurt. Believe me, I put in my dues on the driving game sims. I am now in Law school after I shut down a company I started and ran for 6 years. I just dont have time to "Babysit the AI"(I love this quote) for hours and hours just to unlock a program regardless of how hard or easy it is. I paid and I want to play now. If it is your preference to sit for 20-30+ hrs fighting the horrid AI drivers just to unlock everything, hell, I respect your decision to do so. I just dont have time too. Its not an option for me. My wife would beat the hell out of me with our checkbook! So who wants to PM me the game saves for GT5P and FC?!!!!!? I dont even know how to use them so some instructions would be nice also.
I have been looking all over for instructions but cant find anything reliable or thorough enough to explain it for dummies like myself without acronyms and assumptions that I have any idea what I am doing. I am new to PS3. I did unlock and beat everything in GT5P. It took forever. I want all the cars and don't want to run laps around Daytona for hours just to get the 2M for the F2007. That is monotonous! Now that I have FC I want all the cars and certainly don't want to do any of those multi hour enduro trophy races. I have real cars I also have to give attention to. Cheers.
In a sense I understand your point. I'm 38 years old and a part owner of my own business. Even in these poor economic times I work 55-60 hours a week on average (a lot more when it's busy) I have a long commute both to and from work and I have a family at home who I want to spend time with as well. Before purchasing the PS3 I hadn't owned a game console in 25 years. My time is valuable and I don't want to waste it. So I really understand where you're coming from jproy.
But at the same time, I still feel there is a reason for having to unlock cars and tracks. And it shows you've been able to exhibit the basic skills and technique necessary to be able to race people on-line. The developers, by forcing players to go through this process, ensure that on-line lobbies aren't full of people running each other off the road because they don't have enough practice necessary to learn the tracks.
Otherwise, by your own admission, it shouldn't be necessary for you to attend law school. Just buy a degree somewhere and start practicing. I'm sure you agree there's a reason for the bar exam.
well mate
trophy races are 3 a series and 10mins each
challenge races can be from 5-30mins choosable and are 2 per track + quali optional
if you put the challenge series to 5min races and Ai on easy, it wont take long for you to start unlocking cars.
in fact lets say 23 cars. something like 18 challenge events/tracks.
2*5=10
10*18 = 180.
So you can get all of the cars and tracks in 180mins. Thats 3 hours. And you wont lose because Ai is a joke on that level. Surely you can spread 3 hours over a week and you will be racing in no time. Good luck to ya.
If you dont have time to do this, how will you find time away from your real cars to play with these ones? Half of the thrills in this game are getting to see what ferrari you have unlocked after completing a race.
