Number of people playing online

What gives? I used to routinely race against 8-12 people but lately I have only been racing against 1-2... If I get 3 opponents I consider myself lucky. My internet connection hasn't been changed in a while so I know it's not that my net is slow. Is the online population just down?

There are a number of threads about GT5 "dying off".

Yes numbers are down as people are turning to other games but there is enough to get more than 3 racers in a race.

There are still alot of GTP members racing.

If you race at the times given in the Race Events section youll sync with other GTP members.

Not sure where you are from but a PAL copy of the game helps too 👍

Pardon my ignorance but what is PAL?

I'm from the USA.. Wisconsin to be more precise.

Different places have different regions of games. Pictures of it here:

Alot of NTSC members have brought a PAL game due to more people racing PAL (and just to annoy them, the racing is better on PAL aswell )

You can get them shipped over for around $25.

If I switched from the regular version to the PAL version would I still have all of my money and cars or is it considered a completely different game by the system?
