Number of Races / Total Number of A-Spec Points

I recently saw in the GT4 General Discussion Thread someone who asked what the total number A-spec points in the game is. Well, I found out the hard way. I jotted down every race series and totaled up each of their totals. I developed a formula like this: Total number of races in GT4 x 200 A-Spec points = total number of A-Spec points in GT4. I found out that there are 515 races (200 points apiece), and 34 Mission Tests (250 points apiece) after all work. My work is as followed:

Beginner Events
5 x 200 = 1000 points

* = I combined all the Endurances together because they all are 1 race and 200 points apiece.

^ = I combined all of the Easy, Normal, and Hard races together, there are 3 x 10 of them, so it wouldn't take up as much room.

` = I grouped all of the Manufacturers together so it would save some space.

$ = I used a formula of 34 missions x 250 points apiece to get the 8500 total points. I grouped them all together.

I will put all of the races names when I get the time, this took me an hour to do all of the work, but I hope it will be worth it.

EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that some races that some points cannot be attained. I will update the list accordingly.

Both Diahatsu One Make Races.
Audi A3 One Make Race (Unsure).
Izuzu One Make Race.

174 Max in each.

Well, you can get offered them, so the points exist, just for some reason PD thought "Nah, we won't actually let them ever get the total, we'll just do it for the fun of it and be completely and utterly pointless"

So whilst there is a real total, it can't be reached, so you have to go by the reachable total which is some 1,000 or so less then the real deal.

Has anyone claimed to be highest in A spec points yet? I would think that would be a rather large chest beating achievement.

You can also get 200 points (max total) for winning Family Cup races in the various track locations.

I thought I had seen a similar list in one of the many A-spec threads, but good job just the same.

BTW: As mentioned in another thread, route_66, ANK, and Slotcarrod all claim to have earned 111,813 A-spec points.

Infinity ???

No as stated before Fam Cup only gives you 200 points.
So whether you win 1 race in FC or all of them you only get 200 points, not n * 200.

Maximum a-spec points points is definitely 111,813. It is an insane task but will give you some of the best races to be had in the game. You also have to cycle endlessly through races - one PAL event has the correct lineup at about 34 and it is a 5 singe race series - that's 165 times entering, watch the little spinny thing, exit, watch the little spinny thing, enter.... 🤬 tedious.

On top of that some of the series are stupidly difficult, certainly more than I will ever manage.
