well i was going to buy the Obutto Ozone rig for my new iracing setup but unfortunatly they ran out today!! Just today!! ah man! well i called them today asking when more will come in place to buy and they said, "Several months!! maybe about 7 months! and im here like woah woah 7 months? i aint got time for 7 months  " anyways the rig was $350 plus i wanted a triple moniter stand worth of $100... i did put like $360 on my debit card to actually afford all of this. Didnt let me order it last night because i put the money in my checking account around 3 p.m. So is there really any rig/triple moniter stand that is this cheap and still great as an obutto ozone rig or is it best just to wait "several months" :ouch: This is an iRacing Setup im trying to get.

Hey Ph1sher, I hate to say this but they ran out last night...They had 2 left in stock at that time. I ordered mine at 5 PM central time which is 3 PM their time, and I checked back at about 7:30 central time to see it had shipped or not and the 1 other one they had left, and it had also sold out. I'm sorry

Reviews always help!

Will do a review once I get it!

Once again! Thanks for getting a hold of me and getting me the lucky last obutto ozone! Been watching simracingtonight on YouTube and the ozone caught my eyes rather than the other rigs! 👍

Zoom!Zoom!
I love my Obutto Ozone with triple screen (3+ years). I also suggest getting to better keyboard tray when you get the money.

Thanks for your thoughts! As you may see my ozone is on its way..trust me I'm pumped..can't wait to start iracing!!

HI All,I got my Ozone on the 10th. and it is really nice and didn't have a scratch on it and NO rust as some have said they did. It took me about an hour to get unpacked and all the bubble wrap off of it. I took my time and really checked it all out. I started to put the seat on the frame and then I started to put the front all together and the Monitor stand on. I did change the bolts out on the vesa mount I put some quick flip pins for my tractor in place of the bolts. Just flip the ring and pull a pin on each side raise or lower it. I can adjust my monitor in a few seconds now, if I need to. Now I took all the measurements and I started to build a (frame or a) base for the Ozone so I can enter or exit it easier (I've got a little bit of a handicap) it so hot here I can't work right now and it's hard to just let the rig sit in the corner a not use it. I did sit in the seat and it really comfortable. and that is one reason I bought it. I'll update later on when I get to build the base for it.......see ya later on the track (I hope). stone775

PH1sher, Have you got'in your "Obutto" yet. I am just wondering, And, I just wanted to know how do you like it? And, I wanted to say I wasn't try'in to be smart-alick earlier in my post, I was just try'in to let you know that they were sold out is all.
I am really excited that you were able to get one from MMPCMike, That he was willing to do that, That say'in alot for the Company we're dealing with, They're probably "THE BEST Company" out there in this area of our sport. Again, I want make sure PH1sher you know I "DID NOT" mean anything with that post (above) to you, my friend. I am not gonna say /or do anything to hurt someone, I'm NOT that kind of a person at all. I hope we can be friend's in sim race'in and maybe we can race together sometime, :-)
Take Care PH1sher,

yes, im sitting in it right now :) absolutely LOVE it! for only $350! wow! No problem! that's fine! but yes the seat is massive! super comfortable! amazing! Best Rig ive been in and probably one of the best in the market in my opinion! super stable! the only like "eh, whatever" i have for the rig is the peddle tray. well not really i guess sometimes it slides down if you really push it around. But for example if your racing, the peddle plate will keep the peddles in place! Im thinking about doing a mod to screw through the peddle plate onto the peddles (G27) to hold them better, but its really no rush because its not really called a, "problem" so if you were deciding between maybe the ozone and r3volution for example. yes i agree the r3volution looks so wicked cool! but as of like stableness and so on. the ozone probably, (Probably!) assuming just as good as the r3volution. This is my 2nd rig and i started with the tiny seat playseat evolution.. (terrible choice back then) to this Obutto Ozone was a HUGE upgrade. Im able to flex around at all times as of controlling the wheel. Also very useful for keyboard treys! amazing! I love this rig! Ill probably be keeping it for YEARS to come into college! The coating is awesome! the Carbon fiber on the chair is sick! Oh and the cup holder is Great! I do a lot of League racing in GT5, and when i pit, i just get a sip of water, and im set to go racing again! OR even during the race i can just pick up water, take a sip and put it right back! If your going to get the Ozone might as well get the cup holder! I also have the Buttkicker Gamer2 attached to my ozone, and my oh my! having it on this rig vs. the playseat! HUGE difference.

Overall, If you want to get a decent priced awesome rig only for $350, it's a steal! a must buy infact if your a racing freak and want to use it a lot! easily 10 out of 10!

Yeah! if you play gt5, we can meet up and do some pickup races mate! 👍

Glad everything worked out for you Ph1sher, I too recently got an Ozone and am very happy with it, I am waiting on a custom table to turn up that I am having made, for the same cost as the acrylic one listed I am getting an acrylic stone benchtop material similar to this stuff: http://www.casf.com.au/colours.aspx in a black quartz color made up.

This table will sandwich between the wheel and wheel deck, I have added "wings" to fit some speakers.

I looked at the optional one, at time of order and am glad I didn't get it, as now I have the rig set up, I reckon it would block/impede access to the G27 shifter while racing.

I will post some pics as soon as I get my table top, and show you what I came up with.

I modded my keyboard tray too so as to be able to lock the height but yet still be able to rotate it. I welded a 1/2" nut in the end of the inner tube that slides into mount, then cut 6" of 1/2" allthread/threaded stock and screwed it into the nut, once I had the height I was happy with I screwed another nut on and locked it off, works a treat and stops it working it's way down all the time. I can post some pics of that if you like?

That's awesome! I would love to see that.

Also, brand new questions, do you guys recommend reverse mounting my g27 peddles or no? I thought it looked cool but at the same time kind of a hassle and making sure not to make an mistake.

Hey Ph1sher,

I haven't reverse mounted my pedals as I am happy with how they are at the moment, the ozone has just the right amount of angle for me.

Here are the pics of the keyboard tray post, you can see the the threaded stock, and the lock nut. This is the current height I have mine set at, and didn't figure you needed pics of the nut welded in the tube (as that is pretty self explanatory) I rounded the end of the threaded stock off to give it a smooth pivot point, as it is now I can now swing my tray over my legs and not hit them, and not have to worry about it slipping/working it's way back down.

Hope this helps, as soon as I have my table top I will post some pics.

Cheers
Clevo

Thanks for sharing! That's actually pretty awesome what you did their! 👍

Thanks for the compliment :), well I wanted to keep it adjustable, another guy on another forum had one with a screw in the side of the tube to act as a stopper, but that wasn't easily adjusted.

Will keep you posted on the table top ;)

Hey mate, got he table on, and got my little nook just about right, just shopping around for some nice speakers, and when I get my PS4, the PS3 will reside full time (with GT6 round the corner :))on the shelf that can be seen behind the monitor.

The speakers will sit on the wings either side of the monitor, and the slots added to clear the monitor mount legs allow the wheel deck to still be adjusted up and down.

Also you can see in the third pic the table clearance for the shifter, and now imagine the Obutto table top, it would totally block your shifter.

Another addition is the diamond plate patterned anti fatigue workshop mat.

Hope this gives you some ideas for yours ;) and sorry for hijacking your thread :D

Great, do tell...

So you know the richmo tech sim racing products where you would make your rig out of wood.

Well, I make the outside of it, and a base around it (outside) with droors on the outside (droors go under the seat) as there will be an opening behind my seat to adjust my buttkicker gamer 2. So basically its an design for the outside of the rig that covers the peddles and keeps the wires moved all around and put them in 1 place. (My tv is mounted)

Once that's done, then the fun begins with the painting and logos!! feel free to hop in suggestions ill post a picture once I get the project done.

So basically make a skin for your ozone?

That could work, look forward to seeing how it comes out.

What will you be cladding the ozone with, mdf? You could look at aluminium composite paneling that sign writers use, it is thin light weight, easy to cut, and you can get just about any colour imaginable. This would save on painting giving you a nice glossy starting point, and then all is left is stickers.
