Synopsis: It's been three years since Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and his crew - fronted by detail man Rusty Ryan (Brad Pitt), up-and-coming pickpocket Linus Caldwell (Matt Damon), explosives expert Basher Tarr (Don Cheadle) and safecracker Frank Catton (Bernie Mac) - pulled off one of the most audacious and lucrative heists in history, robbing ruthless entrepreneur Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia) of every dime stored in his impenetrable Las Vegas vault.

After splitting the $160 million take, each of the infamous Ocean's crew have tried to go straight, lay low and live a legit life...but that's proven to be a challenge, much to the chagrin of Danny's wife Tess (Julia Roberts).

When someone breaks Rule Number One and rats them out to Benedict, going straight is no longer an option. He wants his $160 million back - with interest - or else.

And, as the gang quickly discovers, Benedict isn't the only powerful person in the world looking for Ocean's Eleven....

I only watched Oceans 11 recently and thought it was an excellent film. I'm really looking forward to seeing this. 👍

I thought the "eleven" was pretty good too. I've been hearing about Ocean's Twelve for a while now. Is it coming out soon?

I believe it was released on February 4th in the UK.

Yes, Ocean's 12 has already come and gone from theatres here in North America. In fact, it's coming to rental very soon I believe. I didn't like it as much as the first one at all. I wish I could post spoilers, but since it looks like so many of you haven't seen it yet, I'll refrain. But it just wasn't creative like the first one, or witty. I started to get tired of and hate the characters, and the entire movie just felt like every other sequel, i.e. more of the same, but not as good.

I quite enjoyed it. "The bit with Julia Roberts" started off very funny, but they perhaps stretched it a little too far. The bits surrounding the first heist were funny - especially Rusty's solution - and the situation with Linus in the Dutch prison was a little unexpected...

I'm just wondering who they'll give a girlfriend to in Ocean's XIII... :D

I am quite surprised that you found those parts funny. I actually had forgotten about them, and now the movie is downright awful in my opinion. Most sequels are, and this was no exception.

Are you on your period or something?

Because I didn't like a movie?!

I assume you were trying to be funny, but this comment is at par with the level of insult I'd expect from a 6th grader.

What's next, are you going to tell me to take a chill pill? To stop spazzing?

TBH I'd never expect a shoolboy to ask if someone's on a period like that. It was meant as a joke quite obviously. It wasn't because you didn't like the film it was just that you said the film was downright awful, Famine saw it and thought he'd add a light hearted joke which you obviously didn't like.

Honestly either lighten up or make sure you NEVER have a dig at someone else in fun.

Well darn it, he should have put one of those smileys afterwards because I didn't see the humour and I sure as hell didn't laugh. I'm fully able to laugh at myself when someone makes a "lighthearted joke" at my expense, but not if it's immature and not funny at all. Anyone who laughs at "Are you on your period or something?" needs a recalibration of their sense of humour. I have the right to be offended by a joke in the same way another user has the right to make that joke. If I make a comment like Famine did, and someone's insulted, that's perfectly alright. Don't tell me that I either have to lighten up or never make jokes again. I'm offended and that's got NOTHING to do with you.

Damn, it does sound like I'm on my period...must be the weather...here in Toronto it's been rainy and miserable the last few days. Sorry everyone.

But still, I hate stupid immature jokes. I expected a much more intellectual barb from the likes of Famine.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it was a great joke but it IS Famine who posted it and he very, very rarely says anything bad about other members yet he comes up with plenty witty remarks and some not so witty.

Well, he reminded me just how crappy Ocean's 12 was. That's what the thread was about. Not whether I am "PMSing" or not...

Anderton, you are the definition of PMSing. If one were to look in the dictionary for "PMSing" they would find a picture of you.

Jeez, dude. Take a chill pill. Stop spazzing.

I enjoyed 12 more than the 11 because it didnt have the sappy crappy cheesy ending. 11 was good all the way thru but that ending just spoilt it for me, the twist was very clever as was the twist in 12. Also did anyone else think that George(ocean) wasnt the main character?? Brad Pitt seemed to be in it way more.

they both worthy of 7/10

I saw this movie on DVD last night and was not impressed, but I thought it was a pretty good rental. Just the star power of the amazing cast keeps it watchable, IMO. I really liked the Bruce Willis/Julia Roberts part that Famine mentioned. Other than that, plot was way too preditable and phony 70's style mixed with the styles of "Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels" and "Swingers" just didn't work. I expected a lot more from Steven Soderbergh than this......... or any director for that matter. 👎

Due to the unexpected casting of Bruce Willis, Cath Zeta-Jones and Vincent Cassel, on top of the original lineup, I rate this movie a "B-".

I loved the movie, just bought it last week...I was a huge ocean's 11 freak ( watched it about 50 times ) I 've so far watched 12 twice and am growing to like it even more, the only part of the entire movie I dislike is the break dancing frenchman with the lasers, little cheesy !!!
