Well, I got GTA LCS a few days ago and I love it! This here thread shall be for discussion of missions (spoiler warnings, please), techniques, and the game in general.

Let's start it all off, shall we?

What is your favorite radio station? For me it's got to be MSX 98. I really dig this type of music and I think it fits the game well. 👍
 
I'm at 45% and done all the story missions. 👍

I don't know what my favorite radio station is, but I particualy like listening to the funny things people say. :lol:
 
Haha, wow. I'm 12% done right now.

I actually had fun doing the taxi missions this time around. Got all 100 done in about 30-40 minutes. 👍 Next up is Firefighter and Vigalante ( :scared: ).
I'm doing Maria's missions right now because Ma Cipriani and Salvatore Leone's missions aren't available.
 
74% complete at the moment. I have done all the main missions, trying to find all the hidden packages 91 at the moment, is it just me or are they not hidden as well in this game.
 
Well i love this game - but since its my friends psp and have only tried the first few missions and have only been on the first island i thought i'd ask if there are any vast differences to GTA3 in the other two? and do you still get the dodo at the airport in shoreside vale? or is there any different aircrafts?

I love this game, but right now I am stuck on "Taking the Peace." Any advice for this mission? It's the one where you control Paulie Sindacco's car remotely, and you have to run over a bunch of Forellis. I can't seem to run them over without taking a lot of damage and blowing up.

Practice, just practice. I must admit, this is one of the "throw your PSP out of window" missions, so everyone has been warned. ;)
 
I am trying to max my money out at the moment, the best way seems to be the side mission bike salesman. For every 5 consecutive sales the amount you make goes up by $2,500. I have just got to 2,000 consecutive sales and i am getting $1,000,000 for every 5 sales, my current total is $209,529,624.

I love doing the "Kambooka" (I think it's called that) with the firetruck. It's very fun. :)

Try down the PSP, before you try and throw your PSP out of the window. Simple as that.

Looks like i will have to get to around 4,500 sales to max my money.

At last 4,460 consecutive bike sales later i have finished maxing out my money.
I have $999,999,999 and in the process got my criminal rating up to CAPO (212,451 points). Now to get back to the game and try for 100%.
 
Hey this may be a stupid question, but could someone post a picture of GTA running on their PSP. I've seen screenshots, but since none of my friends have GTA yet I wanna see how it looks on the PSP screen :)

Yes you can, but you need a converter to change MP3's to ATRAC's and only GTA can read these files on the PSP, here's a link to an explanation of it all and you can also get the converter from here.

Hehe thanks. I must admit though, I use cheats now that I don't have to do missions anymore, so my weapon budget won't really increase anymore. I never use cheats during missions though (maybe during Rampages and missions like them), it gets rid of the challenge of it all.

Plus, you won't believe how long it took to write up those stats. :D

Edit: I will never use the money cheat either, just the weapons, armour and health.

Yeah i realised you must have spent ages writing this up and now everyone can use it - if its ok with you!

I commonly use cheats in GTA series for weopons it just makes everything more fun! Health cheats are just boring right enough (but if you dont regain health and you get sent to hospital you have to spend ages doing the weapon cheat again which can be extremely annoying)

Your such a nub. Don't use any kind of cheat, ever! I learned that from SA ;)
 
I don't use cheats if i get wasted or busted i just reload to get my weapons back, which some people probably class as cheating. That's what i liked about San Andreas after you had dated girlfriends you got to keep your weapons.
 
Ok guys i have a question.

Do yous think that GTA LCS has the biggest content possible that we could expect to get on the PSP? Or could they possibly make another GTA game for the PSP with more content than this one?

We will probably see something bigger in the future, but i am impressed with the size of LCS for a handheld.

Yeah i was impressed by it too, i would just love it to have more content like San Andreas though!

I think the problem is we were spoiled a bit with San Andreas. I don't expect to see anything that large on this generation of handhelds, but maybe next gen :)
