Taisan Viper??? There was a Viper sponsored by Benihana pictured above, and it was awesome. It was probably pushing about 600-700 hp.

Thank for the viper confirmation on the other thread. I do remember my buddy talking about Benihana, but I kinda zoned out because saying "Benihana" makes me hungry...mmmm getting hungry now.

The FD was a qualifying crash so not sure, actually i dont really know the names of the drivers yet. I know the "rodeo" guy won with Nomura in 3rd, 2nd dont remember.
kazama won in the green S15
taniguchi placed 2nd in the red HKS S15
nomura placed 3rd in the blitz ER34
kumakubo placed 4th in the team orange S15
i forget the rest, but i know i was disappointed in imamura's performance, i wanted to see him place =[

Did Katsuhiro Ueo drive his Yuke's/Revolver AE86? Also, if anyone happens to know what happened to Ueo in Round 7 of 2003 championship, I'd love to know. He moved into second place by Round 6, but failed to qualify for the Best 32. Then he was so distraught by it that he started crying. In a show of good sportsmanship Imamura Youichi came over and consoled Ueo (excellent gesture - I've only seen that type of comradrere in the WRC).
It was all in Japanese from Option 118, so I have no idea what exactly happened. But I can make out that one of the commentators kept mentioning "engine" throughout Ueo's qualifying run.

I've heard word that the pontiac grand prix is participating as well.....is this true? or did the ppl meant the pontiac GTO instead?

i think the grand prix is FF
pretty stupid argument if you ask me , the car is designed by GM engineers .... it uses the american ls1 engine , gm engineers come from accross the globe just like ford engineers .... so its hard to call it doesnt have 1 place of origin the car industry isnt like what it used to be.

it was a holden before they made it a pontiac, that shows how much of insipiration the american mototr car industry is going through, basically non what so ever. personally the only american car is worth buying and might hesitate in getting is a fird Focus or a Corvette. the rest just, like in new york, FORGET ABOUT IT.
I'm sorry to say it but american cars are no more, it's a shame cause there is potential but it's all lost in persuit of the old mighty dollar, money have become more important than the passion of automoblies and the biggest proof is Nascar, all cars are the same............why i mentioned that i have no idea
