Hello drifters, I am the CEO/Editor In Chief at GameChump.com and I have decided to hold a drifting competion. I have been drifting (or at least trying to), for the past few months. And when I came here, I found out I wasn't the only one. Now I have seen some of the videos, and they are very good. But this competition will be different. You will be judged on a 1 Lap run at the track everyone agrees on. I am only going to allow 20 competitors, I can also temp. host some of the videos. But it is preferred to do it yourself.

So now everyone has to vote on two things....

1> What track to use?
2> What Class for the cars? (I just think that will make it a bit fair and interesting. But if you just want to use whatever car she/he wishes, thats fine with me)

PRIZES: (These are still being decied, but this is what it might be)

1st Place: $100 US Dollars
2nd Place: Sonic Heroes
3rd Place: $25 US Dollars

I have thought this out a bit more now..

Round 1:

Will consist of 20 people.
There will be a vote for which track to use (Majority Rules).
You will then have a week to get your best 1 Lap of drifting.
Then there will be a cut, where 10 contestants will be cut.

Round 2: Quarter Finals

Will Consist of 10 people.
There will be a vote for which track to use (Majority Rules, but it can't be the previous track).
You will then have 5 Days to get your best 1 Lap of Drifting.
Then there will be a cut, where 5 contestants get cut.

Round 3: Semi-Finals

Will Consist of 5 People.
There will be a vote for which track to use (Majority Rules, but it can't be any of the previous tracks).
You will then have 3 Days to get your best 1 Lap of Drifting.
Then there will be a cut, where 5 contestants get cut.

Round 4: Finals

Will Consist of 3 People
There will be a vote for which track to use (Majority Rules, And can be ANY track)
You will then have 24 Hours starting promptly after the vote to get your best 1 Lap of Drifting.
Then I will decide who comes in first, second, and third.

There you have it guys.... And if this gets a good turnout, this will be an annual event at GameChump.com. I might even have a Rally Tourney if this turns out good.

I would actually have to say both.. I mean, we have an incredible staff. My web designer works for EA and SEGA, hes working on sonic heroes and some street soccer game... I have also got two interviews being set up with Claude Comair, President of Nintendo Software Technologies. One about 1080' Avalance, and the other is a "Gaming 101: Dos and Donts' of the Gaming Industry" type of thing. Any other questions..

Wow this sounds great. And cash prizes! woohoo! But damn, I doubt I would have enough time to do all 4 rounds, maybe I'll just try and see how far I get. Keep us posted.

MR.MX6, I'm not saying your untrustworthy but. You know how the contestents will be Sending you phone numbers house address. I don't think people will be interested in releasing Private Information like that. To someone they don't know I think it would be better if you could show us some information, that we can trust you with. For example: The contestants would be giving you there phone number? Why? Are you going to call them up?


I think, we need a bit more information, so that we can trust you with. .

My advice to you is to just sign people up without taking their personal information. After the contest, you can take the winners' info as you will need that to contact them.
