Official Racing Colours of GTP

Hi All

I asked this question in another thread as an aside, but got no answer, maybe because nobody knows or the right person didn't see the thread.

Anyway, what is or will be the official racing colour for GTP for now or when the full game comes out?

I know it was red for the recent online forum race, will it stay the same?

I want to know so I can buy all my favourite cars in the official racing colour and use them for my races and time trials, I wanna represent!

If no official colour exists yet, I have made a poll so we can have a vote, if a colour has already been decided, then ignore the poll!

(I did a search, no joy!)

well red was given to the GTP team on Saturday as the other forums chose their own colours and some are sticking to it. GT5net a french board so they have blue and GTRP a German board and they have gone for Silver.
GTP is anforum where all nationalties from around the world are a part of this great site and i think by giving it 1 colour doesnt seem right.
Then you will get some cars in GT5 that wont be Red anyhow.

As for the colour it's got to be black or I have to sell nearly all my cars :ouch:

They're only pretend cars.

And anyway you'd prefer the GTP colour to match you avatar, surely?

Actually, I was thinking either that or the maroon used on the site.

But if we can get some form of customizable livery I'll probably just make sure I have a GTP logo on my cars that I use online.


And that brings up another point: If we get customization/paintshops/whatever (which I am neutral, bordering opposed to) would we have an official GTP design expected of all members officially representing GTP in tournaments? We probably have a year before we have to decide, but I just thought that I would throw it out there.


And I wonder f Jordan could get advertisers that want their logo on the cars? Wait, I think I confused real life again.

👍 I like the idea of an official GTP logo.


As for the advertisers. It's not that big a stretch of the imagination online gaming is just another captive mass audience when all said and done
 
Sponsors on the official GTP livery isn't a bad idea :)
A lot of members would race with that livery, so a lot of advertising.

Also makes it look more professional to have ads/sponsors on the car :)

Your right mate, I have and I wear it with pride, but like Mr Foolkiller has said, I would like to go further and have GTP decals, my GTP username on my number plate etc...:dopey:

Thanks for the info on the forum colours. With GTP being international, i suppose a vote is the best option?

Who is Jordan? Is he the founder of the site? If so, then yes, whatever colour he decides is the way to go! :bowdown:

EDIT: Ok, now I know who Jordan is! Just seen his profile, big respect to you Sir! :bowdown: Ofcourse, the choice is his.

How about rainbow coloured cars? 💡 No, wait....

I'd personally go for Black (or a very Dark Blue), but then again, most cars are only available in certain colours, e.g. the Impreza I'm using online currently is only available in Blue, White or Dark Silver... still, not a bad idea to attempt colour coordination, I suppose. But having a garage full of red cars... :ill:
 
Well I'm pretty convinced that it will be cool to put a GTP logo on our cars or some sort of skin. But I'm not for a unique colour. I find some cars nice in red and not in black, and some cars better in blue, or black, silver, etc...
Therefore, the "colour" will be used as an identification tag from different forums. Why? We already have tags in our names and it seems pretty easy to identify each others with this tag.
And you still have some cars which have only 2 or 3 colour (and some have only one colour available). So we will not allowed to use this or this car because official colour doesn't match?
Anyway, if GTP members decide to wear an official unique colour, I will get it too.
 
If forced to choose a single color I would also go with red. In the end however, I choose each car in a color I think looks good for that car. Or, if it is kind of an ugly car in the first place, I'll sometimes choose something revolting. I mean, who could want anything more in life than a Ferrari 512 painted GOLD?

But my vote is Red.

110% True, you must let the big man decide what color to use to represent GTP. But yeah, doesn't matter really on what color it should be, as long as you have the GTP logo on the car, its very noticeable to everyone. 👍 If you want to know how does a GTP car looks like, look no further that Daan's F430. :D (sorry man, I had to do it..... :guilty:)

lol, actually, the tuners on this site can represent sponsors.

I think we should be black, seeing as were an international forum. Black is not used in the international racing colours:
