Just then, I set up a custom race. St the start, everything slowed right down and got stuck. I went to share from youtube and the game shut down with the (CE-34878-0). Everything was normal before then.

Did anyone figure out what happened? I went to bed and when I woke up the 799 PP Zonda I was using in the WTC races was suddenly 801 PP. Was there an unannounced update?

This isn't related to what happened last night
but,

while I was grinding at the Sardegna 800 two nights ago I saw a message at the bottom right corner of the screen saying I went offline. As a result my progress wasn't saved and menu screens after the race were loading endlessly because of that online only thing.
Searching on Downdetector I figured my ISP was having NAT issues (very, very rare, happened only twice since september 2021).

But technically speaking, PD and Sony's ARE the source of the problem since THEY implemented this mandatory online only "feature". Never bothered me before the outrageous long outage, but now....

It has been down for me since 1:00 am.... woke up at 9:00 and from there until now (14:00) it has been offline ever since.

Feel sorry for those who were still doing something in the game and not can't do crap because of the anti-consumer always online feature.
This really has to be removed.

I feel your pain, but ... save more often. It makes no sense to work on something for 3 hours and not even take 10 seconds to save it during that time

It sucks to get disconnected mid-race, during race result screen, or in the middle of the livery editor. The always online is ruining gameplay experience. I was doing a gr.3 race in World Circuits and won 8th place. I decided to look for tuning guide, redo the race, and won 2nd. But guess what? As soon as I got at the end race screen, I apparently went offline and progress didn’t save.

I was on a good deal yesterday and last night. I never got a disconnect notice, or servers offline notice, or anything.

Mine went Offline at about 1315 again, it happened to me last night also, about an hour into a full night of racing with a bunch of my friends. It sucks, this time I was creating a livery for tonights Manu race.

Came back at 1336, heading back into the livery editor.
