Does anybody know of any CD rippers that can rip to .ogg format? Apparently .ogg's give better quality at lower bitrates than .mp3's.

Oh, I have tried downloading the OGG codec for dBpowerAMP but it doesn't work.

.ogg, That's a new format to look out for but why would you want to encode stuff at a higher bit rate you wont realised a difference in quality, well maybe a little bit.

If your a dog listening to the music I would advise you to have a high bitrate but you aren't dogs so why worry?

Nevermind. I managed to get the .ogg codec to work.

Oh, and by using .ogg I can get the same quality as an .mp3 but at a smaller filesize (1-2mb difference).

Now thats cool! - I'll wait until it becomes more of a standard and when burning an audio CD I couldn't be bothered finding a .ogg to .wav decoder.

You really believe in this .ogg format don't you - your like Linux wanting to convert Windows users except you want us to become .ogg worshippers.

Sorry not going to happen ;)

Not really. I use .ogg to rip my CDs because it is a better format than mp3 as far as quality/filesize goes.

And I'm just informing people that there is more than just mp3 out there.
