Guys please bear with us on this race since it was thrown together quickly.

After further testing. Mediums will give you longer tire life but gets hairy late in the run. Softs wear quicker but are more stable late.

So here it is tire selection is open. Run what your comfortable with. Use your own strategy. No mixed sets please

Just as a reminder you have to start the race on the tires you qualify with. You may change your compound anytime during the race.

I'll be missing out on a good race. I demand a redo. Well, just accommodate me when I get back in town ok. No disrespect.

If anyone wants the hot car for the current 700pp Spa seasonal, I have a nicely tuned Peugeot 905 '92 on share. I'm in the top 200 as of a few minutes ago at 177. 1:55.1xx. Have fun, it's a great car. Setting A.

I'll use it next week. Thanks.

Anybody got a setup for the S2000 they could PM me, otherwise I'll just use Praiano's. Practiced 3 laps last night and gave up, been sick since last Sunday, should be on for the race though.

This is one I pulled off of a tuning site and feels pretty damn good.

LSD: 45/30/25

Suspension:
Height: -20/-18
Springs: 14.0/13.0
Dampers (Ext): 7/8
Dampers (Com): 6/7
Anti-Roll: 4/4

Camber: 1.3/0.9
Toe: +0.05/0.00

Brakes: 5/5

I'm using the same set up. Works really well

Stock suspension works great for me. Low 58's with it w/ stock tranny. LSD 10/12/12.
Gonna try the Dangit tune though too.

I tried the stock setup and the rear kept breaking loose every time I let off the gas going into the turn.

Speaking of set ups, I gave NCR's 905 a run at spa in the seasonal time trial. I have no clue how you can drive that car with those setting. I was totally out of control

Your not a LeMans grad yet. You will be. Soon. Training to begin in approximately 8-9 weeks.

Oh and sorry about the dents and scratches. Send it to my body shop and I'll have my guys fix it right up

The aliens at the top were running Active Steering on the highest setting. So I tried it for the first time doing TT's-maybe that will help. TC 1. AT. I'm still on the leaderboard @ 217. I'll be thrilled if I can stay in the top 250.

My 2J is on share now if anyone wants to use it for the 600pp Nurb TT.

I turned down the LSD on the stock tune (Amuse) that helped. I like Dangit's setup better though-sharper turn in. Dig it. Thanks.

What is Active Steering? Where can it be adjusted?

It's in the driving option menu where you have TC,ASM etc... I'm not sure what it does-obviously some kind of steering assist. Don't know if it made any difference but I got faster with it-maybe just got more familiar with the car or psychological!

Can't take any credit for the tune, it was posted in the seasonal forum. Some guys where running 53's with it. Takes a little practice hitting Eau Rouge flat out otherwise you can't get into the 55's, 56's. Leader is in the 51's!

Here's the way to show some G0d Dmn enthusiasm! Jumping in air, cigar in mouth

Racers, as a reminder please enter my lounge prior to 9:30pm eastern so I can get a head count for the open lobby if need be. I hope we get a full house tonight as this should be an interesting and tight race. See everyone tonight!!

Sorry guys, hate to quit but was just not having any fun. Being sore, medicated and spinning of track just wasn't fun at all for me. Had to leave before I broke something. Hope you guys all had a blast and sorry for being a distraction.

Thanks to everyone that participated last night. That was a tight race that probably would have been a lot tighter if not for some trips off course by a couple of racers. I think Envy said we had six guys all with in .500 in qualifying times. Great job!!

I don't know what happened last night when I couldn't get back in the room. When I left the lounge I cleared my cache and then tried to get in the public room, when I clicked on the coffee cup it just kept showing the spinning deal and never would even show me who was in the room. I restarted GT5 twice and even tried to get in my own lounge and it wouldn't work. I'd been in my lounge and a couple of others before we went to the public room with no problems. I don't think I'll be clearing my cache right before entering the race room again. :ouch:

Not sure what it is about Suzuka, I really like the track and can usually run good times.... but I have never had a good race there. For some reason, I always end up going off track once the race starts. After a few of those last night, I just parked out of frustration with myself (and so I wouldn't be in everyone elses way). I was hoping last night would be different, I knew there were a lot of guys running very close times and was looking forward to a close race. Congrats RR, you ran a flawless race once again. 👍
