California Sues Automakers Over Global Warming


So... thoughts?

I of course see it as a tremendous waste of money used for political gain around election time.



As a side note, has anyone read State of Fear by Michael Crichton?

Yup, I think it's really silly. Yes I did read State of Fear and I thought it was very well written (even if it is a bit heavy handed).

I think California should sue its citizens for being dumb enough to sit in bottomless traffic jams for hours and hours with their engines running the whole time. California should sue its and other states' wealthy citizens for leaving their home lights on all night and while they're gone on trips to the Old Country. California should sue its citizens--except those of San Fransisco--for wasting everything they can get their hands on. Then the federal government should sue California for sucking the life right out of the earth, being liberal beyond belief, and hiring a movie star to be governor. Finally, California should promptly split off of and float away from the other 47 contiguous states. But not before raising and shipping all of its cool driving roads to the northern Midwest states, like Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and all the other regions that were glacier bait long, long ago.
