ok I registered for this forum in order to find out if there is a 7 gear car in any of the gran turismos. I dont mean any wierd ass game shark car, a real grn turismo car you can either win or buy. this is all i ask of everyone. the reason behind this, in gear settings before a race you can adjust gear ratios, obviously, but there is a space for a 7th gear, wtf....

God doesn't frequent the GTP forums much these days. We usually just make do with Famine....
There is no 7 speed car in GT3.
"but there is a space for a 7th gear", you ask. There is. Why is it there? We don't know. Ask PD, they wrote it. My guess is that there were 7 speed cars in GT2, so they just used the same gear settings part of the program instead of writing a completely new bit.

In Gran Turismo 2, there were a couple of cars that had 7-speed tranmissions. Two that stand out in my mind are the Mitsubishi GTO LM Race Car, and the Castrol Supra GT.
