I got myself GT5
today. Anyway, the game itself installs, and plays, just fine yet when it goes to update to the latest version the patching fails.
It gets to around a third of the way along the progress bar and then just throws a "There was an error with the download" box and stops. It's not the connection as I'm still logged into PSN and can access the net and whatever.
This means I can't really get into the game as I don't want to go and start winning money and buying cars only to possibly lose my savegame when the thing updates.
This has been going on for over 12 hours now! All I want to do is to update the damn game and play it. Each and every other game I own don't have any problems, it's just this one. Isn't it supposed to be a Sony PS3 'flagship' product? Doesn't bode well does it?
Any ideas?
