Tested in 1 race on a sim rig with no assists. No idea about performance on controller or with assists. Fast lap was 1:35.2 and optimal was 1:34.4, but I think a really good driver could break well into the 1:33s with just a bit of practice. You could break under 25min overall if traffic works for you and you put in clean laps. I had bad traffic and two wall touches and still was under 25:30.

FM1 gives almost exactly 5 laps pushing as hard as possible, so stop for a full tank and tires at the end of laps 5 and 10. Don’t bother sacrificing speed trying to save stops.

This car loves squared off corners, straight exits, and getting the pedal floored as soon as the tires hook up on exit.

Don’t use 1st gear ever - take slow turns in 2nd and trail brake to keep the rears from lighting up on the exit. If you’re shifting before 90mph or so, you’re coming out too hot and losing speed to tire spin.

Take a wide entry on both turns 4 and 5. You should be in 3rd gear coming off the final kerb out of turn 5.

Enter very wide, and apex very late for turn 6. You want to be at the top of 3rd gear nearing the barrier at the exit and hitting 6th gear at the bottom of the hill straight at T7.

T12 is flat out. Take a good bit of grass and stay hard right so you can take T13 wide into 3rd gear, power on early in it and under steer out to the kerb on exit, hopefully hitting 4th around the middle of the exit kerb.

Trail brake longer than feels “normal” coming out of T14 to keep the rears in check.

T15 is NOT flat out. Lift slightly for just a moment as you apex and cut the corner so half your tires are on tarmac and half in the grass.

Amazing tune! I’m on controller and use automatic and gearing was SPOT ON! 26.12 for race, fastest lap was 37. I’d like to try more of your tunes if you have any. Do you possibly have one for Gr.3 Mustang?

no other tunes for now, sorry. for the most part on other cars I start with someone else's tune from this board and make minor adjustments to my particular driving style.

They ruined the pp for this awful game

I just have one request, DON'T overdo this one to the point PD nerfs it!! This has been one of four go to races for me since I got the game.

Never mind the McLaren, the Red Bull Comp has been untouched by PD on this for the last two patches.
The fastest grind is still Tokyo with certain Ferraris, two Mazdas, and several Lambos coming in around 25 minutes. I bet some of the GM cars could still do it. Sardegna is easier, though, which is reflected on the payout.
If you can make Sardegna in 24 minutes in the MP4/4, that's great! I'm running 27 in the Red Bull Comp.

I don’t know what is wrong with it, but something isn’t right on my end.

Used Praianos Suzuki Escudo 600 tune yesterday and bumped it up letting go of motor restrictions and applied RH tires for Sardegna 800. 1:31:00 lap times. 2 stops. :-)
