Im not sure if this link can help ya, but here goes. I only had every other version of GT2 barring the UK one so im not too clued in on it if its any different.

I didn't realize it was in there until I had owned the game for almost a year. (Probably because I avoided any internet-related help for the game...)

cheers y2tuscan have read through a different page although its says i can buy the impreza on day 130 (im on day 134) i still cant find it i dont know if its a random thing.
only car i have bought from used car lot (rare cars) is the subaru 360 and its patheticly slow boring and toattly useless guess i have to keep searching the used car lot for some of them better cars.

Ugh the subaru 360 has to be the worst of the "slow" cars.

The only other tip I can give you is that the used car garages change every 10 days. So just keep playing and every 10 days check the used car garages. Also I remember the Japanese version having different sets of used cars, initially and also during the game.

i have just got the impreza 22b on day 150 but what other rare cars can you get in the used car lot
i have tried looking elsewhere but no look

The '83 Mazda RX-7 is rare. Also, there's an old Skyline, Toyota 2000GT, Subaru 360.....I'm just running from memory here, I know there's more.

There's the '71 240ZX, '97 Supra (Turbo), the '84 Skyline RS-X 2000, and get a Suzuki Cappuccino while you can when...if you're dying to finish the game!

Some colors can be tough to find too, finding a maroon 240ZX took me about 200 days at one point.

Oh yeah the 1970s skyline is another hard one to find. Although when its race modded it looks like a rally spec MK2 ford escort.

240SX S13- hatchback (called 240SX Fastback Type S/X in GT2)
240SX S14- sedan version of hatchback, looks like a mix betwwen a Silvia and R32
S15 (don't think it's called a 240SX)- modern day Silvia we know and love.

This will only help people who are about to start a new game but here goes, get all the licenses at the start, then win a car that you can use to do the GT500 series. Then, you'll have enough money to buy rare cars. The rare cars appear less and less often as time goes by. Just buy them early so you have them instead of stressing over them later in the game.

That's not the case, the rare/old cars appear on a 10-day basis, repeating the cycle every 600 days.
