"Old Geezer" needs some HELP

Hiya Guys:
I went all the way thru the game nearly 5 years ago & then re-ran almost all the races researching my "Prize Car Winners???" thread. Recently I've once more done the majority of included races but can't find a particular Venue. I'm 99.9% sure the "Game" used it & I in fact, included it in my "Tarmac Rallye Challenge" some years ago. It's driving me CRAZY (a VERY Short Trip I assure you!) that I can't find where PD used it.

So if any of you know where SUZUKA WEST is used PLEASE let me know!!!

If my memory serves,its not included in any race at all,only races that take place on it are the family cup races.I'm at 96.8%(only left with some missions) and I have not ran any races on that track so far.

Maybe race Suzuka East in reverse? Makes sense to me...

Suzuka West, if memory serves me right, is not used in any races in GT4, as the AI is not programmed for it. In fact, if I remember correctly, it is not possible to B-Spec at that venue.

Perhaps you're thinking of Twin Ring Motegi West Short, since that's only used in three races (Sunday Cup, Suzuki Concepts and Spitfire Cup)?

Hi O.G., I checked my 200 pt spreadsheet and the only reference I could find for Suz West was Family cup. All other Suz races are full or East.

I'm not sure if it's in the Simulation mode, but if you go to the main menu, options, and somewhere in there, there is a track selector. In there you will be able to "activate" Suzuka West, because the game can only handle a cirtain amount of tracks at a single time. Therefore, you need to "disable" a different track to "enable" Suzuka West. Hope this helps!

THANX ALL!!! 👍👍👍 Although I ran LOTS of laps @ Suzuka West during my "Tarmac Rallye Challenge" (We ran THREE Different Classes!) I thought I remembered running there in one of the Manufacturer's Cups.

Anyhow, as a small "Thank You", here's a little "Pearl" you may or may not be aware of. The "Coned-Off" Chicanes on the right hand side of Suzuka, Suzuka West, Fuji 80s & 90s and Tsukuba are all OPEN!!! We used them during the Rallye Challenge just to wake things up a bit. They make all the venues "Different" but none more than Tsukuba.

I've used the Tsukuba "coned-off" area occasionally, especially if I manage to get a good lead on the Ai. It adds 3 or 4 seconds to a lap time (depending how slow the car I'm driving is).

Could it be in the "World Courses" section where you can run the Time trials and "Family Cup" races (500 credits prize)? there are all the Variations of the Suzuka track there

I probably didn't make it clear enough in my first post but what I was looking for was, in which "Simulation Mode" Event(s) Suzuka West may have been used. All other venues were used at least once & one was actually used 32 Times!!! I'm preparing a post listing the reasons why I don't care about the delay releasing GT5 as long as PD doesn't SCREW UP the same things they did in GT4 THANX...O.G.

Yes i meant in the Simulation mode not the Arcade. Its in the place all way to the left of the screen, just above the "Special Events" area (dirt/snow rally races) in the world courses area you can race on all variations of the Suzuka with your "garage cars" not the basic ones in the Arcade section. (or have i missed the point totally, if so i am truly a )

You're NOT a , sometimes I just don't express myself clearly. I know where to find it to practice on (or run a "Family Cup" race), I was looking for a Race where PD had used it, like in the "Japan Championship" for example. I could have sworn Suzuka West was used in one of the Manufactures' Races (specifically the "Saleen S7 Club" series of 5 races.) When I didn't find it in use there, (or in any other "PD provided" race) was when I asked for help. THANX...O.G.

Yeah, I've not been able to get my GT4 disc to load in so long that I cuss every time I try to load it and the PS2 just sits there and does nothing....
