off topic I know, but what would you do guys do if SONY came out and gave us a Second Blu-ray disc that had all the older GT games from 1 - 4 on it as a thank you for being a loyal fan for 15 years (I was really hoping that was the 15th anniversary bounses, ah well someone can dream right :P), would you buy it,

or would you wait to see if the games come onto the PSN store (speaking of witch) I'm still amazed that SONY or PD haven't put the old GT games on the PSN store yet, in any regions :(, I know GT 2 had some legal reasons behind with some of the cars being used in it, would love to play GT4 in full HD, still play GT3 again on my 42 inch SONY Bravia :)

anyway what's your take?

My PS3 plays GT3 and GT4, with 25ish million copies floating around I don't see a need to make it downloadable.

that's true, but my PS3 doesn't play PS2 games now :(, I had to link my PS2 back up to my TV but a downloadable version would be nice and in full HD :) also I read that gaikai will have 50 Millions games (PS 1 - 3 classics) on when it launches with the PS4 next year

No one knows for sure why they haven't appeared ads HD remasters. I have heard mention of licensing to do with the music used...but that seems silly.

I like the idea of a supplementary disc - please apply for a job with PD marketing :)

You will never see it because licensing the content for the re-release would be nightmare. Maybe even not possible. Just abandon idea and move on.

It's licensing all of the content in the games again.

There's a reason why cars from previous games aren't carried over to newer ones.

Well, that I could understand and would be why a free disc would never be available. However, as a HD remaster that is paid for, surely that'd ameliorate the cost of re-licensing.

I know, based on the earlier success, the cost would be far higher for said re-licensing...but still...

It's something that I would love to see but I doubt it will happen. Playing GT/GT2 on a PSP still does the job for me. :) (The games were converted from my 2 copies)
