Old Muscle Car Tuning Help

I need to learn how to tune these cars. I have many of the old ones. Cuda, Chevelle, Charger, and GTO. I would like to set up the tranny and suspension.
If you have any tips tell me please.

Transmission is tricky in old muscle cars because of their unique powerbands. Because they reach peak power at relatively low RPMs, you should gear your ratios longer.

I was wondering is the cuda easier to tune?
