Old stuff, but i got my S!

I finally got my S license, after much hard work.

For those of you out there who still even play GT3, and are one of those types who think the licenses are impossible, or even golds are impossible, lemme tell ya i was right there with you. but everyone on these forums are exactly right, practice makes perfect. Couldnt have done it without these players.

Now onto grabbing golds/silvers, i have all of B gold, most of A, some of IB, none of IA or S.

And now im testing myself in arcade mode, more fun stuff.

GT3's S License is lot harder than GT4's - I got a lot more satisfaction from gaining it in GT3 than in the new game. One of my gripes in GT4 is that I find it a lot easier than GT3 - I was hoping for much bigger challenge.

Well Done for getting the S License, Not everyone can manage it...

thanks a bunch , yea it was tuff, i think the hardest one was the S license with the miata, and the one with the viper. I found the last one extremly difficult until i read how not to shift below 3rd, if i woulda read the same tactic for the one before that , that is similar thru ss11, i woulda beaten that one sooner.

The rally licenses are hard, cant get the golds on those, at least not yet.

while doing these in manual gear i found a few tricks to get off the line as fast as possible in some of those cars that peel out when reving to max in neutral.

just dont even hit 1st, hit it to 2nd and peel out in that gear, then once your almost done peeling go back to first then 2nd again. i found it saved me a lot of time.

After a 'Final Fantasy X' and 'Devil May Cry 3' break from GT3 I'm back in the driving seat!

I attempted to grab the S license last night, I managed all but three of them. I need the MX-5 (Trial Mountain), Viper (Laguna Seca) and the final one (GT-One, Cote d Azur)! I tell you, going into that MX-5 after thrashing around in the faster car's is so bloody difficult, you feel that you could get out and walk faster.

The Miata is a difficult test to pass, but all you have to do is use your ghost, and keep playing until ur in front of him when u pass the finish line. This will help you find the best lines and at what speeds to take. That one was the hardest test for me period.

I actually never had trouble with the viper at laguna, took me 2 tries.
