think it was in the gameplay options. it's called driver on/off, not wheel IIRC

I still have some wheels left in the open wheelers, but they dont move and the hands have gone. I means I still have the instrument date on screen, A nice feature!

It is in Quick race as well, but I am not sure about career, I have not been in open wheels yet in career.

The wheel will remain in vehicles where a MOTEC display is on the vehicle. There is no way to turn them off in this situation.

I love this feature, that was the main reason I hated cockpit view in GT6 and never used it. Purely for the kids.
