Not sure if its been mentioned yet or not but in the videos from Gamescom you can see a graqphic in the centre of the screen on some vids of the TC setting and brake bias setting, clearly meaning u can adjust it by using the dial on the DF GT, what i want to know is can GT5P do this or is it new to GT5? and does anyone know what the adjustments are? everything (is it TC,BB,ABS,SC,downforce?) or just the two?

Im currently chasing DF GTs on ebay and plan on having one within a week to get used to using it on GT5P so i can be a master of it by release date

RA function- Real time Adjustment. Go to the menu and you can put it to any button on the controller or any wheel. Yes, you can use it online.

With a controller it's a bit difficult on anything but a straight, with a wheel whether it be the DFGT or otherwise (provided you have enough buttons to map the controls to) it's easier.

I very rarely use the RA function with a controller unless I'm trying to divvy up the brake balance or such. It's distracting with a controller, trust me. :P

Out of interest does anybody actually bother to use it mid-race? ... or even find time to use it?

It will come in handy if PD includes weather effects during gameplay... That way when it rains, you can turn on ABS and TCS while it rains!

I mostly use it To turn ABS OFF once after about LAP and HALF, Once my tires heat up, ABS is not needed, I get more precise braking.

Thats why I did this..............

PS, the shift up and down are the wrong way round in the above post.

Who knew the fastest man on a motorcycle was a a bad arse wheel modifier also?

That is super cool! I just keep my controller on my lap, lol.

Six extra buttons, just enough for using the in race adjustment thingy.

Yep, thats the Largs, had an interesting visitor today.........

Must have set off every car alarm in the town, I've been to a few airshows but that was the loudest plane I've ever heard.

Notice how the plane in this clip is much louder than the plane in the GT5 E3 video? cue another complaint thread..............

Yes I see what you mean I'll try to edit that and load it up again. I've had that for about a 1 1/2 years and never noticed the hand shifter being reversed My Bad.

The fuzzy feeling you get in your chest when the pilot flies directly away from you on afterburners is awesome! 👍

I use it on the fly specially with TCS.

When a car slides too much on rear (like that white blitz one -- cant remember its model name) or at all, i start using TCS at 7.

Lap by lap i keep driving it until i fell confortable with tcs 2... 1 and turned off completely. IMO, Its a nice way to learn how to get total control of your car.

Great work modifying your wheel...:)

@ that video, man that pilot whas having a good time thats for sure!!!would give anything to be a pasenger in that thing....imagine the adrenaline...wow!!

spyrrari.

I do, not a whole lot, but it depends on the car and circuit. When GT5 comes along with tyre wear and (hopefully) weather effects, I'll end up using it a bit more.

What puzzles me is that the G27, supposedly dessigned for GT5 doesnt have this real-time adjustment dials. Perhaps it could be done with the extra buttons?

Anyway, its a great feature, i really hope GT5 has it and its compatible with both G25 and G27

The G27 wasn't designed for GT5, the Driving Force GT was. The G27 is more of a PC wheel, although still compatible with the PS3.

Yes it can be done with extra buttons, thats why I went to all the trouble of fitting said buttons to my G25.

Oh alright, thanks. So, which one is best?:ill:
Which is better varies from person to person. I personally prefer the Driving Force GT because of the extra buttons on the wheel, while others may prefer the G25 (or G27 in the future) for the clutch and H-pattern shifter.
