GT5, along with my PS3, my TV, my computer, my TV remote, my printer, every electronic in my room is about to be smashed because i cannot beat this stupid license test IB-3. somebody please tell me how to beat this ****. ive tried it AT LEAST 500 times by now. most of the time i cannot even finish because if you go a foot near the cone you get DQ'ed. i have 39 golds so far and this one i have silver in... i just want to start IA but since im a a perfectionist i cannot go any further without getting gold on this crap. someone tell me how to beat this.. yes im using a DS3, im ordering a DFGT in 2 weeks. this is ridiculous how PD expects anybody with a DS3 to complete this challenge...

Best thing I can Suggest is , go and do a few Races and just chill out , then come back to it later .
Its really not worth giving yourself so much grief over it and in the long run it sounds like they'll be big repair Bills for everything you've destroyed .

yeah. Sounds like your pride has stopped you. Go to the next race for now and return later. Its not going to kill you leaving it behind. Most people can't even accomplish what you have so far. When I finished and got my S I had 12g,30s, and 18b. You think I was mad. Nope, not at all. I have been returning every now and then to improve and now I stand at 20,24,16.
I know I will NEVER get all gold. I do however want to get at least all silver. This may not even happen for the S is no joke. Its as tough as the higher level Special Events.
PS. Harley45, who in the heck is that on yourrrrr Avatar. Baby is bad a$$. Talk about gorgeous. Now I'd try to get all gold if she asked. Otherwise, I'd pass.
I have a DS3 and have all 60 gold and gold in the special events. It can be done dude.
Don't go full throttle the whole time. Push it as you're turning to the next set of cones then release then repeat. When you get the second to last set just hold it down and fang it through. Trust me, this is not the hardest license test.

Even though I used wheel for all other tests.

Don't worry dude, the cones got me too, the only tests I've struggled on are the cones, especially the later one with the FT86. 
this is a miracle!! i got gold on it 
18.456. i guess my problem was i was coming in too hot in the final 3 cones. feels so great golding this crappy license test 
back to my other question about a wheel: DFGT or fanatec 911? im kind of leaning towards the 911 as its got a clutch + h shifter and only $40 more.

?Well done man, I'm still stuck on that one. Best I've managed is 19.1 secs after nearly 3 hours of trying (I just managed the earlier Mini one to the exact thousandth of a second). Havent tried it in a couple of weeks so might go back to it tomorrow and see how I get on. Just spent 3 hours on the intermediate NASCAR event repeating the 2 Daytona challenges over and over (weirdly I managed the 2 Indy ones first go) and another 2 hours on beginner AMG event making sure I got the golds for them.
