The Ability to Save Replays Online

That's it.

If PD gave us the Ability to Save Online Race replays it would give GT5P more life then I could ever imagine

Do You Agree?

Sure, I've had some excellent races I'd love to show off, so with that ability people would start racing again just to get a good replay.:)

Edit: That said though, there are many things that would give Prologue new life.

Maybe... I want to say "not as much as private rooms!", but that's obviously not the question.

I say maybe, because it would do a lot for those of us who look for, and find good racing, but I don't see it doing anything for those who have decided to call it quits.

there is a downside... it would give the punters a way to show off their "skills" and brag about how they ruined someones race

No, that'd be good. The stupid fools would post it on n00btube and then get the crap hammered out of them from all the comments telling them what losers they are.:)

Ive been wanting to save online replays since day one... I thought it wouldve been in there from the beginning....

Yeah and someone from the PSN might see it and give them what they deserve, a ban. You could imagine them saying, look at this clip of me ruining people's races, they have just admitted guilt. It would be easier to ban the punters if they did this, not only from replays from the people whose races were ruined, the idiots will post replays showing them doing it too.

Fun things don't happen when AI drives. They just keep their line. It's in online races the most spectacular overtakes and coolest driving techniques are showed. That's where the replay feature should be.

Maybe it's different in America, but when I went back to Arcade Mode to enjoy a track full of cars, I found that the AI drove almost exactly the same as my online rivals.

Anyway, I don't know how many people will go "WOW!" from being able to save replays, but it would certainly bring at least a few back. Along with that, Photomode would draw a lot of people back, being able to save pics of photo finishes to their desktop.

No Earth. You know as well as I know that replays alone will not do it. Everyone here knows that a complete online platform will keep us coming back and bring in those who have left. While it would be a very nice option to save replays from online races. Great.

-Online Chat with voice.
-The ability to control our races.

Nonetheless its good to see you back here.

Not sure saved online replays would bring people back. Why would most people want to see their online battles ruined by some ramming tw@t?

Private race rooms will keep the die hard fans happy and keep the idiots out. That's what online play needs.

very much yes yes yes.

It's the one thing that came directly across my mind when i did the first online race in gt5p. And then came to realize the menu was skipped entirely...:grumpy:

This would be something so fantastic (been a replay watcher since GT2 and never quited :dopey:) I would jump a hole in the air! it would look real if we would be racing there with a bunch of GTP'ers... Picture it...👍

It would change nothing for me, which doesnt mean that i wouldnt like the feature.

What i miss more is a pause function in replays.

Of course! If GT5P online replays will be savable. I would save almost every single one, even the ones I lost! It would be just like photomode but in motion and I could record and edit then post on youtube!

What CWR said, plus different tracks!!

Just let GT5P die already and lets focus on GT5's release.

Do we really want to keep GT5P going with the odd update each year or would we rather PD to focus on getting GT5 finished and released?
I'm pretty sure most will want the latter right now.

Prologue has done its job and it doesn't need to do anything else now, just keep the servers up so we can still play it until we do get GT5.

I've watched one replay in my entire tenure of GT5P. Nothing is going revitalize it - this game is packaged, updated, and done. By far the best feature is the game's original function, racing simulation. Improving that, and that alone, will bring temporary satisfaction to the masses.

+1:tup:

No. While it may be cool to watch the race I just spent 15 minutes participating in, I would probably never watch it more than once. To revive GT5P for me would be adding some actual new content of some sort into it, and this is not a feature that would redeem it.

I'm sure the drifter's would comeback strong. I hear it's one of there biggest complaints (I know what my name is but I'm not a drifter, just an Initial D fan:sly:). Is the any consule game that has online replays? Is it possible to have a game with online replay? I don't know how games work, but I've never seen any game that has it and you would think it would well liked.
